Please post your updates from D.C. and from news reports here as well as your photos of the day.
Our Walter Reed salute to the troops last night was very well attended. Upwards of 800 people were there over the three-plus hours of the demonstration.
Photos and video taken by This Ain'tHell taken in daylight before the bulk of the crowd showed can be viewed here.

No. I saw him and just turned the TV off. I can’t stand the sound of his mealy-mouthed voice!

My hubby has been on a fishing trip for a week. My house is a disaster, I’m still wearing sweats, and he’s due home in about an hour.

I think if Glenn had gone to the event, the security
would have caused too much of a distraction.
The guy has to surround himself with protection due to
the threats from the dark side...

I’ll bet you real money that the Patriots today don’t leave the capitol in that kind of mess.

Meanwhile, Obama had 15,000 guilty white people at the Target Center in Minneapolis today.

Trying to get caught up on what’s been going on...between work and a neighborhood get together...Looks like Pence rocked the place! He’s been pretty good from what I’ve heard about him.

The CSPAN coverage was great because we got to hear all of the speakers from all walks of life. They were all amazing. It felt good to see that we are not alone out there and it made me feel hopeful about taking back the country in 2010 and 2012. I think these tea parties are what is going to get us through until then.

Minnesota has REAL tards! LOL!
If they can believe that shtick, I know about a large bridge in Duluth
I’d like to sell ‘em!

But I'm seriously proud of those who marched today, paid their own way there to stand up and be counted.
