Wilson told Obama he was sorry shortly after the incident on Wednesday, but has refused requests to apologize on the floor. Wilson's office says the congressman considers his initial apology sufficient. He has also been telling supporters he will continue to speak loudly about the issue and "not be muzzled."

Obama is the same sneak, cheat and liar that did not establish civility with the racist Gate’s incident. Obama set the tone… maybe we should have a Moonshine summit…in South Carolina
As far as I am concerned and have learned real man do not apologize to any person for what comes out of their mouth (with the exception of being factually wrong)! As for Joe Wilson, he should not have apologized, based on this fact alone; he is an elected American Representative, who was there being lied to. For he should have said while someone is lying or not telling the truth to the American public, he, Wilson, will not put up with it. He stands in between sneaks, cheats and liars to protect the American public for he has a duty and has taken an oath to protect.
As another point on the subject;
I believe this being civil stuff is how Americas have placed themselves in a losing situation, whereby an individual being a natural born sneak, cheat and liar can go to Congress with impunity; using insulting terms in his speech against the American people! Relying upon Marxist of Queensberry Rules, treating you as a servant and fool, while you think that civility works in social or political conflicts and war...those who believe so will always be losers not learning from history or empirical facts...I realize that people of McCain’s ilk did not get it right in Korea, Vietnam to Middle East and other locations, fall for the civility scam while unable to repair the damage they do leaving people not free or from tyranny! And by the way taxation is a form of tyranny when manipulated for the benefit of the few at the expense of the citizenry.

Twice, in committee, the republicans wanted to add a proof of citizenship & enforcement of same into the bill. The democrats refused both times. Which leaves a bill with a bunch of words that MEAN NOTHING! Any one will be given healthcare.
He should call Pelosi's bluff on censure.
He can appeal, if not in a congressional hearing then on every network & on every editorial page. He can trot forth all the non-partisan experts who have themselves said the HC bill the WH is peddling does in fact cover non-citizens. And he can invite the cameras front & center to broadcast live & in living color his defense of his statement during that speech to the nation.
Does the WH really want more intense scrutiny about the substance of Joe Wilson's charge against the President's false claim? This would actually serve to give Joe Wilson a wider platform to expand upon his brief against the President's disingenuity here.
Do they really want all Americans to know, as you suggested, that the provsions to expressly exclude illegal immigrants from coverage by the HC bill were voted down by the democrats across the board - twice?
Do they really want to turn the health care debate into a debate on illegal immigration?
Call her bluff, Joe, and we'll all start praying that she & her minders in the WH are stupid enough to take the bait!
The filthy people on the left either flat-out refuse to apologize when they do something wrong, or they issue one - and only one - half-@ssed apology to those who ‘may have been offended’. The lefties are NEVER required to go on an apology tour and meet the demands of those on the right for a certain level of perceived contrition.
Wilson is exactly right in refusing to let the left set the rules.
This man needs to be lifted up in ALL of our daily prayers.
Not only his is lying, but Judge Napolitano said it will be illegal to refuse illegals under the Constitution and said Obama should know that given he was a professor of The Constitution...lolol
I wish this would get traction and more people speak up about this aspect.
