Coast Guard fired on boat in the Potomac, nothing on the wires yet...
Well there’s an easy way to the truth on this. Whoever scheduled this “exercise” should be compelled to resign as did the official who scheduled the A1 joyride down the Hudson River.
In the meantime, I do believe there are "attackers" in the wings....just waiting...

Our pretender to the throne would create this “event” to polish his “embattled young black president” image.
My BS detector would have picked it up but it was destroyed by Obama's speech the other night.
Thinking it over: as many as a million people opposed to the admin's policies will be arriving tonight and tomorrow. It is also a highly symbolic day for terrorists, so they are justified in being in the area. For all we know, the CG did follow all the correct notification procedures but the WH or Park Police messed up on their end. We don't know enough yet, so I'm now in favor of giving the benefit of the doubt.
Bingo. I’m calling BS on this whole cover story.
I’m here (near the Potomac):
1. The electricity goes off
2. Sirens are heard
3. Flights are stopped at National Airport
4. Shots were fired
5. Then no shots were fired
6. Then it was “rubber bullets”
7. Back to no shots were fired
Then we find out about the “incident” near a bridge where the POTUS is crossing over to or from the Pentagon.
Either someone is triggy happy, it was a real incident or we have Inspector Clouseau running the show.
I’m with you. There is NO WAY I believe this story... I can’t possibly believe ANYONE in our military of ANY branch would be stupid enough to authorize an exercise on the Potomac River, in DC, by the Pentagon, AND the President on 9/11. There is DEFINITELY something more to the story...
Now, if only there were some citizen witnesses who could come forward with an account of what actually happened — what the boat looked like, whether they heard shots fired, etc... Or, someone in the media like a news helicopter or something to cover the memorial, but I’m assuming air traffic was stopped due to the President being there...
Someone OUTSIDE the military or the police HAD to have heard or seen something...
I do not trust the “official explanation” for this at all.

Seriously - if this wasn’t an exercise, they can’t keep referring to it as an exercise without firing/forcing out the person who scheduled this “exercise”.

Amplify that, please. You say power was cut? and how do you know flights were stopped? Not that I doubt you, just that your testimony might be Buckhead quality.
I have no problem with the training exercise ocurring if indeed it was one. I don’t expect the entire country to shut down.
My problem is with the knucklehead that reported this as a possible incident. Was it CNN? Seems like a case of mis-reporting before the incident was confirmed. I blame the lame media here again.
I would argue that a dirty bomb could make quite a mess.

My prediction..Janet Napalitano. They are going to turn this into a ‘necessary precaution exercise due to the fact that so many racist conservatives are out to ‘get’ Obama.

Alternate World: “While anniversary ceremonies were being conducted all over the nation to commemorate 9/11, and while the roll call of those lost was being conducted, BUSH orders Coast Guard to fire shots on vessel in the Potomac, but was later called a training excercise.” Congress has called for an immediate emergency hearing.
I'm reminded of the scene in "Iron Man" where Iron Man collides with an F-22 and the F-22 goes down (pilot rescued). His pentagon contacts demands, "Tony, how am I going to explain this???" Tony Stark suggests "Training accident? Isn't that what we usually say?" "No one's going to buy that Tony!! Not this time!!"
Cut to the next scene in which the Pentagon contact says to a crowd of reporters: "In a tragic training accident today ..."

BUT I’d like to see the internal Coast Guard paperwork ordering this “exercise”. Very bad judgment - if true.
Some Coast Guard Admiral should be packing his bags now over this - if true. And thus would be the test.
The Coast Guard is under the Department of Homeland Security.
