Molecular biologist Michael Behe described a system made of several interacting parts, whereby the removal of one part would disrupt the functioning of the whole, as being irreducibly complex. Both creation scientists and intelligent design proponents highlight examples of irreducible complexity in their studies, because they argue against evolutionary hypotheses. The very structure of these systemswith their interdependent parts working all together or not at alldemands a non-Darwinian, non-chance, non-piecemeal origin.
A team of evolutionary molecular biologists thinks it may have refuted this concept of irreducible complexity. In a recent study, the researchers focused on a specific cellular machine involved in protein transport and claimed that it was indeed reducible to its component parts. But did they use real science to demonstrate this, or just scientific-sounding phrases?...

That may be the argument of some atheists, but certainly not of a rational being. I learned "you can't prove a negative" a long time ago.
Well see, that's just it...there's not only no proof, but this doesn't stop liberals from demanding it be so!
If normal people begin observing there IS purpose, intelligence and design, lunatic godless liberals begin contorting themselves into coniption fits and flinging about endless projections about "religious attacks on science".
Besides, everything in our universe works so neatly, I find it hard to believe it wasn't designed.
And again, your position is at complete odds with the liberal powers that be...no intelligence, no design is allowed!
I find it hard to believe anyone could miss their endless demands on this subject quite frankly!
I was referring to the many cases where they check a customers ticket after the drawing telling them they are losers and then cash in the winning tickets.
Hypocrite!
Liberals always want others to abide by all the rules they have no intention of following themselves.
"Give my regards to your grandfather; he has my sympathy for having to share his family tree with the likes of you." ~ GGG http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2332157/postsLink
Saying "God" exposes the cover lie behind ID, especially the modern movement as headed by the Discovery Institute. Their goal is to promote ID as purely scientific in order to be able to get it into science curriculae, with the end goal being to change science into a theological exercise and promote a Christian view of the world.
Get with the program. If you lie now, you may get your way in the future. :)
However, it appears you're too honest for that. Although we disagree completely on this issue, I appreciate your honesty.
In being fair to GGG, that was in the middle of an Army/Marine pissing contest. Pay no attention, soldiers and marines do it all the time, and usually a lot worse than that. We’re lucky fist fights aren’t possible over the ‘net.
Interesting, I've never heard that scam. Still, it imposes a non-random factor into the winning and thus invalidates the general probabilities. Or you could just re-state the problem using the serial numbers of tickets issued instead of the names of the winners, then the general probabilities apply again.
Surely you would be happier up on the porch with the 'big dogs'.
pretty simple really...liberals are uptight that they can't control everything around them...so when they can't control something, they try desperately to move it where they can have some control over it.
Poor Ira...so meanwhile I guess he's just going to howl out in the backyard while normal folks go on about their day. :)
But shame on GGG for saying such a horrible thing. Evidently your grandfather deserves no sympathy. But you have mine.(I'm kidding)
That would assume that, at minimum, no Republican, Bush-appointee or Lutheran judge could incorrectly rule that evolution is ‘scientific’ while ID is not.
Another sad example of the multiple fallacies that underlie evolutionary apologetic. In this case, the fallacies of appeal to authority and appeal to popular opinion.
Must you continue to demonstrate your lack of critical-thinking skills for everyone?
OOPS, I found my mistake. I left off the last “s” in the url.
xcamel, you never answered the scientist’s question from post 43. You know, the one asking for your credentials after giving you his. All you did was tell him that he was not capable of doing his life’s work because you can’t reconcile the two.
Here’s the link and part of the post so you have another chance, just in case you missed it because you didn’t read that far. Please, do enlighten us. What ARE your credentials, especially the ones that you feel qualify you to critique his career field in such a way.

And, I am able to spell the phrase “bona fides.”
So what are yours?
Thanks, aR. There was much more going on than just that, but Ira_Louvin’s willingness to trade on his grandfather’s heroism to insert himself into the middle of an Army/Marine rivalry (even though he has never served himself), and for no other purpose than defending his fellow evos (even though the debate had nothing to do with evolution) was not something I was not high on my list of things I should let slide.
Interesting credentials.
Do you believe the earth to be less than 10,000 years old?
They had this monkey typing at the keyboard. In the first minute he rapidly typed:
“xeajiope3a=383^*&$jnklR3PO9(0[Ju90390[j3joi39[3JO’j’E34WRJO’EJ3430334KO’3KL;43L;’3’4KO’Q3240]AJK4L3;R40]4Qiu#jm#)_#;k3EJ”
The odds of him typing that sequence were about 1 in 400 billion! Yet it happened!
If the ruling was incorrect then why was it not appealed?
I'm fairly certain that you are lying.

Too bad he does not have the confidence to venture to a less friendly environment to peddle his snake oil.
Odds?
