Support South Carolina Rep. Joe Wilson
Posted on 09/10/2009 7:41:17 AM PDT by Syrin23
I urge everyone to contact Representative Joe Wilson's office to offer their support of his actions. The president looks into the camera and to the american people and LIES, and we're supposed to believe that Wilson is in the wrong for calling him out on it? We need MORE of this kind of response, and he should not be apologetic about it. This is the future of the US we're discussing. Civility be damned. The democrats are not constrained by truth, civility, honor, the Consitution, the law, etc. We need MORE Joe Wilson's up there fighting for the good of our country.
His web site is down, and I am SURE he is under assault from the left be it MoveOn, MediaMatters, etc. We need to be the voice of support.
This is what I could find:

Liberals have raised over $153,000 for Wilson’s opponent, Rob Miller, in the last 13 hours, through the ACT Blue website, with $75,000 coming from the KOS Kommies, ALONE!
We have NOTHING on our side that can compete with that.

You are kidding, right?
The MSM wasn’t going to pick apart Obama’s speech anyway, they would be picking on some other republican reaction if it wasn’t Wilson’s.
We’ve become a nation of complete wusses. Someone calls the president a liar, and it is being treated like a major crime. I actually read where one SC democrat made a comment that the governor’s affair was the most embarrassing thing to happen in SC lately, until this came along - talk about misplaced priorities.
Considering the low opinion of Congress lately, the reaction of Democrats to their “hallowed institution” will probably turn more people against Dems that against Wilson’s or other Republican reactions.

"Never apologize son it's a sign of weakness."
After Joe called him a liar he should have called him out! "Fill your hand, you lying son of a bitch!"
Punish him? Not NO, but HELL NO! Someone should give him a Medal!
You can always count on South Carolina to know when a revolution needs to take place!

I agree with you 100%. It would have been very interesting to lay low and see what Hussein would have said in the school speech. Some people never heard the saying about giving a man enough rope to hang himself.

If anyone has ever seen the proceedings in the British Parliament and compared them to to our lily livered Congressmen’s fake patina of civility in the House, they would think what Joe did was tame. Our friends across the water really go at each other in a sometimes very messy democratic process. At least Joe didn't punch anyone or throw anything. Yet...

because you dont like his apology - which was probably forced on him? Who, SPECIFICALLY, forced him and how did they do it? He only needs to answer to his constituents - period.

I've seen em grab chairs and go at each other in the Japanese Parliament. I think it is indicative of their passion to serve their particular Provence.
I'm good with that.

I think we should call all the conservative congress critters and ask why they didn’t have the guts to do what Joe did.
My congressman is very conservative, but I don’t hear him speaking up....

He didn’t have to apologize, he chose to apologize. We’ll know we’re winning again when Republicans STOP apologizing.

In fact, after promising to make sure that no government bureaucrat .... gets between you and the health care you need, the President repeated his call for an Independent Medicare Advisory Council -- an unelected, largely unaccountable group of bureaucrats charged with containing Medicare costs. He did not disavow his own statement that such a group, working outside of normal political channels, should guide decisions regarding that huge driver of cost ... the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives.... He did not disavow the statements of his health care advisor, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, and continuing to pay his salary with taxpayer dollars proves a commitment to his beliefs. The President can keep making unsupported assertions, but until he directly responds to the arguments Ive made, Im going to call him out too. - Sarah Palin, September 9, 2009 Apparently it's ok for 0bozo to call other people liars but when he is called a liar (which he is) the demoRATs get all self righteous & huffy. RAT BASTARD LIARS, including their usurper in chief, 0bozo, the chief liar!!!

If we base our actions on what the Democratic news media does, we will be forever chasing our tails. The Democratic news media doesn’t give a damn about what we think, is under no obligation to be objective, and will continue to rag on conservatives no matter what we do. If they’re that biased, corrupt, and dishonest, they should be shunned, period. We need to stop caring what they think, and be ourselves.

I contacted
Boehner's Washington office to ask them to support Rep. Wilson against any attempts at a censure. He apologized, no more needs to be done. Even if it's not proper protocol, I told them I appreciated Rep. Wilson saying what millions of us were yelling at our TV.
