That means at least 4 filthy Republicans supported it. Disgrace!
So, you believe that honesty, consistency and a man’s reputation are not to be valued? Remind me never to make a contract with you.

Seriously, the liberal situational “ethicists” are claiming that a conscience is nothing but a personal belief in order to force doctors, nurses and pharmacists to perform abortion. It seems that you would agree that if it’s legal, it’s mandatory.
Or maybe you just like to kick up dust and follow a shallow line of thinking if it helps you make a mess.
See my post 216.

The Devil’s Seven.
I do think it matters. I do value them. Cornyn, in essence, has a contract with the people of TX, and that is to act in their best interests. Cass Sunstein is not in their best interests. Remind me to never rely on you for pragmatism and political acumen.
Cornyn has an obligation to others beside himself. His congressional votes impact the lives of all Americans. He is duty bound to vote in the best interests of his constituents, and that obligation should supersede his concern for his reputation or a parliamentary procedure.
The only good that can come out of this would be if one of those frozen weenies once belonged to Lugar or Voinovich.
Agreed: Don’t count on me when pragmatism goes up against integrity and conscience.
I kinda like your way of thinking. You make sense compared to my lack of same....
I just sent Cornyn a good scolding! Told him his action puts America in grave danger and his action again demonstrates that the GOP needs to get on board the conservative train or lose our support and vote.
So, your only interest in what is happening in this country right now with ostammer’s policies is concerned only with the integrity of the players and that their consciences be clear, the hell with the decisions they make and policies they inflict on us?
No wonder this country is rocketing down the tubes faster than a speeding bullet.
“Dick” Lugar needs to be voted out of office! (also the other 3 rino’s)
Our nation is where it is because little compromises on our consciences and integrity became corruption.
It is absolutely necessary for a man who fought for the right of good men to receive a vote on the Senate floor follow through with his conviction. I could wish he’d “forgot” or stalled, but that would be a lie, a compromise of his integrity.
Thank you. You humble me.
I’m strongly influenced by my parents who taught me about the great Consistent Creator, my husband, and the book, “Healing the Culture” by Robert Spitzer. http://www.amazon.com/Healing-Culture-Commonsense-Philosophy-Happiness/dp/0898707862/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1252544745&sr=8-1 It’s a good primer on ethics and rights. “Im strongly influenced by my parents...”
Anytime you’re influenced by your parents is a mark in heaven to your favor.
It’s a mark in *their* favor. Thanks to them, I can’t remember a time when I didn’t know that I was surrounded by God’s love.
Don’t forget Gregg
RINO’s, the gift that keeps on giving.
nobody ever tell me that there are good Rats.....there are no good rats....
ya listening blue dogs?....
Sounds like a roll call of the same yellow bastards who voted for the Stimulus bill and cap and trade.
The next time you get a solicitation or phoney “poll” from the RNC, instead of tearing it up and throwing it in the toilette where it belongs, sit down and write the bastards a nice letter telling them they can all go to hell and from now on you will only contribute to INDIVIDUAL candidates who reflect a conservative viewpoint UNTIL THEY STOP BANKROLLING THE CAMPAIGNS OF IDIOTS LIKE THE ONES WHO VOTED FOR THIS SUNSHINE FANATIC.
