What it proves is that Whites can recognize racism applied against them. Obama is very smooth, but others in his administration and other supporters are not. Rev. Wright is not the only example.

I suspect that those whites who voted for Obama and have since turned against him are those who lost either their jobs or their houses or both. They went with what was trendy and hip and showed themselves to be socially conscious and not racist, but those who follow fads are the first to bail out when it's no longer stylish.
