Unlike any man-made computer, the brain is made of living cells that must constantly change as we acquire new skills and information. It appears that the physical architecture of the brain itself changes in response to our experiences. Such a marvelous design makes it possible for us to grow and adapt to our changing environment...

As my wife just put it this moring, Happy Day Off Day :o)
Ping!
Thanks for the ping!
This might help explain why some of the brains of dead homosexuals taken after autopsies showed differences. Several years ago, gays said that this showed that there were innate genetic differences from birth, but what the results might really show is that they are from the result of experiences. It’s the old Nature vs. Nurture argument and this gives more evidence for Nurture.
I never thought of it that way...excellent reply!
how does this support a 6-day creation and a 6,000 year old earth?
Same song different verse, it is too completed to understand so that proves that God did it
Thank you for posting this interesting article.
I didn't see GGG make any such reference in his post.
He didn’t- Ira is famous for diverting attention away from articles by making off topic claims such as that, because apparently spitwads are the only ammunition he has left
I did not prove that homosexuality is genetic, or find a genetic cause for being gay. I didn't show that gay men are 'born that way,' the most common mistake people make in interpreting my work. Nor did I locate a gay center in the brain...What's interesting is some people, for reasons of their own, remember only that homosexuals had different brain structure which is not what the study actually said.
My pleasure. This article certainly gives Proverbs 22:6 a fresh new meaning!
Where does the author provide any evidence to support this statement I believe nothing provides greater testimony than the brain to how we are fearfully and wonderfully made.?"
The Bible itself tells us that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” Moreover, the Bible tells us that Jesus Christ created the entire Universe and everything in it, and currently holds it together with the power of His Word. In my last thread, you said that you believe this to be true. If so, why do you have a problem with “fearfully and wonderfully made”?
I guess its just me, but I like when an author provides evidence to support their assertion.
I do not see any in this article
BTW you failed to answer my question, but nice try at changing the subject
As UCANSEE2 already mentioned, this article does not even mention 6-10 thousand years. So it is you who are trying to change the subject, not me. What the author does say is that the incredible sophistication of the brain is one of the greatest examples in nature that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made,” just as God tells us in the Holy Bible.
What evidence does he cite to support his assertion?
The “assertion” is made by the Word of God in Psalm 139:14. The author of this articles cites the incredible sophistication that is your brain in confirmation of God’s Word. As a “Christian”, what evidence do you point to as confirmation that human beings are “fearfully and wonderfully made”?
What scientific evidence does Psalm 139:14. provide, and how could you falsify that?
The Author of all creation (and the Author of the ability to scientifically study that creation) tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Are you calling God a liar?
You did not answer the question, so let me ask it again.
What scientific evidence does Psalm 139:14. provide, and how could you falsify that?
