Once Glenn Beck brought Van Jones to light, the Internet started looking into him. FOX news was the only major media even reporting on Jones. Free Republic and their learned participants added fuel to the fire of knowledge.

That’s why “diversity czar” Lloyd is of such concern to free speech issues.

Either Obama knew or some private citizens using Google did a better job of vetting Jones than the WH. Neither option is good, but I know which one I believe.
The Harvard guy sat in Rev. Wright's church for 20 years and apparently didn't know what was going on.
That says allot either about Harvard or the Harvard guy.

Therefore (just like with Pelosi) Obama wasn’t “discharg[ing] the duties of the office”. What, something about a buck and stopping where?

Van Jones said in his resignation letter:
They have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me. They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide.

Thank you especially to FReepers of
DefendGlenn.com and Kristinn for their fine work, from the bombshell videos to the 9/12/01 shocker.

Shows how irrelevant the “main stream” media is. They are so yesterday.

The DUmmies are in meltdown. Theyre SO stupid they think its because Jones called GOPs a-holes. Not a word about the Truther thing, the Communist thing, etc. No. I actually agree with them here. It's hard for us to imagine it, but the average American doesn't care about "Communism". Their eyes glaze over. Beck railed after Jones for 2 months, using Commie, Marxist, fascist. No one cared. No media covered it. Even FoxNews other than Beck ignored Jones--people forget that. Van Jones remained secure.
Then a video was released last week showing Jones dropping the "A-Bomb" 3 times in a lecture. Now THAT people can relate to. Folks who watch "EXTRA" and read Us Weekly and People. Folks who aren't as engaged in politics as are we (most people are not). Seeing Van Jones saying that really struck a chord. And finally the media started covering it.
We FReepers operate at a much higher plane that the average slob out there. "Communist" doesn't get their attention. A**hole does, and did, and opened the door for the other stuff to gain traction.

“Obama gave Jones thirty billion dollars.”
Maybe that was the object of the appointment to begin with.

Like a fleeing criminal that tosses garbage cans at its followers Obama did just that, he threw Van Johnson at us to stall our approaching advance, I have no doubt about that. Quote:"Glad I made it to Post 81 to read your brilliant analysis of today's news. What a gem!" Thanks!

How do the Alinsky rules go? Identify, Isolate, Demoralize, Destroy.Alinsky RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
Even if the Republicans are too gutless to fight fire with fire, the American people aren't, and Beck, right now, is reflecting the voice and will of the people a hell of a lot better than anyone in DC.

Maybe you’re right. Guess I was giving libs credit for being able to handle critical thinking tasks when they’re not that deep.
