WEST CHESTER TWP. Thousands of people made their way to the Voice of America Park this afternoon, Sept. 5, for a Tea Party event.
It was festival-like atmosphere of patriotism, with food vendors, face-painting for kids and live music for crowd that Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones estimated topped out at 18,000.
People of all ages were wearing patriotic clothing in hues of red, white and blue, many carrying American flags and hand-made signs with myriad slogans.
The event drew people from all over the region, including a family from Springfield.
Laura and Andy Rosenberger of Springfield were trying out a professionally made banner stating, Obamacare no, tort reform, yes at todays rally. Laura Rosenberger plans to take the sign to the Tea Party in Washington, D.C.

Yes. It was refreshing to hear an honest head count, other than the usual Lame Stream Media BS of “hundreds” of protesters.
To: DoctorBulldog
What cracks me up is it mentions the 18,000 there and the 20 pro-Obamacare counter protesters across the street.
Perfect.

The tea party model works because the left only understands massive centralized events. Its just too hard to mobilize thousands of their followers to travel to every podunk town in flyover country.

We had 3 protests in Jackson Michigan. The SEIU, ACORN and OFA bussed people in for the first but not for the other two.

They can't keep up with our pace because there are far fewer union members in the country than non union members.
