Any coverage on the US news?
Last night I saw a status update from one of my game friends on Facebook. It said No Mas Chavez. I googled it to make sure what I thought it said was correct. There are a number of entries on Google for that phrase. There is also a group on Facebook under that name and another for the protest they had planned for today. Here are some links.

I'D LIKE TO TEACH THE WORLD TO SING |
Here’s a rough translation of the No Mas Chavez opening page:
The whole world is tired of Hugo Chavez.
Now is the time to wake up.
We are tired of President Hugo Chavez insulting us, insulting Latin America and the world, and trying to impose upon us his anachronistic and stark raving revolution by means of lies, fear and misinformation.
We are tired of all of Chavez’ hypocrisy, who on one hand decries interventionism, but on the other hand is the MOST interventionist president in history. We are tired of him playing with the economic futures of millions of people, according to his whim of the moment. We are tired of his vulgarity, his coarseness and his dementia. No more Chavez!
We are tired of seeing how no one—no one with power—is able to stand in front of Chavez and tell him: No more!
For this reason, Friday September 4 is the day when the people will say to Chavez “NO MORE”. We will take to the streets in a large and peaceful march in order to say, with one united voice, that we are TIRED OF CHAVEZ, that we want no more of his lies, his bullying, his coarseness, his craziness or his insults. NO MORE CHAVEZ!!!
None on FOX
“Tea Parties go International ... Who woulda thought that.”
Yep. Gotta believe they’ve taken encouragement from our Tea Party movement.
I think the whole world (every country) should drag out there leaders into the streets and EXPLAIN to them that they work for us.
I was talking with a guy in India the other day. He asked how many people had died in our protests.
The concept that the govt worked for the people shocked him deeply.
The idea that cops call people sir and ma’am was also quite a surprise. there they curse and beat. Filing even the simplest police report requires bribes.
God Bless America
“should drag out there leaders into the streets and EXPLAIN to them that they work for us.”
tar and feathers encourages good communication.
Excellent! This is very reassuring.
How about those congress critters asking for ID to ask questions at the town hall mettings, but yet they wont require ID to vote... they all need some tar and feathers....
“they all need some tar and feathers...”
yes they do
Thanks for the ping.
They’re happening all over the world it looks like. Including Venezuela.
We pray that the Venzuelan people can liberate themselves from this monster Chavez.
Viva La Revolución!
I just read that there was a huge anti-Chavez march in HONDURAS! Maybe they should make that an anti-Obama march, too.
In any case, it sounds like Obama’s idol, Chavez, is losing some of his charm. Unfortunately, I read that there’s going to be a big pro-Chavez march by the usual cast (unions, etc.) in Caracas tomorrow, protesting the “golpistas” (people who are attempting to carry out a coup, that is, the anti-Chavez forces).
Yes, it seems like they were planned worldwide but I never heard about it.
