Perhaps we need to Advance by taking a day off from work and showing up at school with our kids (if they are still the the government school system) instead of retreating by just keeping them home for the day.
(Besides, what about all the other school days?)
I’m afraid he would know me up close and personal if i had a child in that school system.....
JFK asked (all of us)... Ask not what your country can do for you, but rather ask what you can do for your country.
OBUMMER asks (of the children)... Ask what you can do to help me.
JO NUVARK asks (of the Lord)... Ask Obummer one last time to answer Your knock on the door of his heart.
Dr. Arthur W. Tate Jr.
Formerly from MA
That tells you something.
For some reason I think I need to see a picture of “Superintendent of Schools Dr. Arthur Tate Jr.”
Yeah keeping them home also will hurt the school’s funding if they have attendence formula funding. And that is what this tyrant deserves.

Not permitting? Maybe, like everything else, they want to know exactly what is said before they expose their children to it. What’s wrong with that? In many states, school curriculum must be approved by a board of parents and educators prior to presenting to children. If a script of the speech isn’t released, it may not even meet state educational standards.
Simple. My kid is sick. He/she won’t be coming to school today. Send us a dvd of the speech and we will treat it appropriately.
Home schooled children don’t have to be brain washed by that creep.
Church school children (in Bible-believing churches, that is) don’t have to be brain washed either.
If people don’t see that the government school system is exactly that which prepared this generation for a president such as that monster, and they leave their children in that mess, then what is it from preventing them from waking up now?
A whole lot of people could see how the government schools are being used as far back as 30 years ago or longer!
Get the kids OUT! MASS EXODUS FROM PUBLIC EDUCATION.

Excuse me? “Not permitting?”
I would go friggin’ BALLISTIC!
Had a parent orientation at my son’s school tonight, and the great speech came up. He’s in kindergarten. We live in a very conservative area. One mom asked if she could sit in. I told her the district said we could “opt out.” Another dad piped in and muttered “yeah, and get your name on a list.” At least half of the parents weren’t interested in their 5-year-olds hearing a possibly politically tinged speech from the pres.
Is it on? I thought I saw a thread yesterday where it was off.
Who the hell do you think you are, Tate? If parents don’t want their kids to hear that crap, they have every right to pull ‘em out. What are you going to do about it?
