Vice President Joe Biden proclaimed success beyond expectations Thursday for the $787 billion economic stimulus, but his glowing assessment overlooks many of the program's problems, including delays in releasing money, questionable spending priorities and project picks that are under investigation.

Anyone old enough to remember HEE HAW will remember Junior Samples. Junior had only a third grade education and that was above his brain. He was funny but dumb as a rock. Junior got his start telling a lie about a fish he caught to a game warden. A radio station played it and the rest is history.

Hey, Joe wants us to know that the stimulus will fix those "5,000 bridges out there ready to collapse"...but, um, of the 2,476 bridges which will receive stimulus money, almost half have passed inspections with high marks,and shouldn't qualify for federal bridge money, but, um, they will.
How do you fix a bridge that isn't broken, Joe?
