If I had children still in school and objected to the invasion of public schools with propaganda, I would send a note to school with my children that they are to be exempted from participation in this exercise. And if the school gave me any flack, I'd just keep them home that day.
Where is the requirement that our children need to be 'inspired' by socialism and guilt trips that is vested in the ideology of Barack Obama?

Many schools lose revenue if kids are out. Just call Lil’ Johnny in sick if the school insists on him being indoctrinated.
Agree, I would keep them home and ream out the principal, and school boards, just for fun and in person..(did that a couple of times with arrogant principals in my younger days, they left me alone) I had 5 kids, and more than 2 at any given time in high school...except for the youngest one, but she never got into any school problems, but she did have 4 older brothers that sometimes needed an attitude adjustment from home...
Stand outside, protest, and hand out Obama/Joker/Socialism flyers.
I heard K-12. They had different teacher lesson plans for the different grades.

I would guess parents could get hold of their school boards and raise hell.
We need to return to a capitalist school system and get government out of the school business.

Keep them home but go one step further. Take a vacation day and go to school for them and sit in their chairs as OlButtNutt delivers his speech. Anything he has to say should be heard by parents first.

What I find so distressing about these posts are the responses. I am discouraged to think that so many Freepers still have their kids in the communfascist government schools.
And...What is apparent from these responses is how few even recognize that government schools had as their goal, from their very beginnings in the mid 1800 to early 1900s, the training up of citizens to be compliant workers for the fascist state.
Communfascism is our nation's most serious threat. Government K-12 schools are the communfascists’ most powerful weapon. ( But few conservatives recognize the enemy or the weapon.)

One good thing about Los Angeles schools is that they don’t start classes till the 9th. Ha!
Others just do not want to give up their subsidy. They like having others pay their way.
These are not federal government schools. They are owned by locals and operated on local tax dollars!
We own our public schools and regulate them. He’s usurping our children’s class time and I do not pay teachers with my local tax dollars to feed my children’s head with Obama’s political agenda!
I think its time to use their tactics on them. Dont keep them home. Send them to school and have them walkout, like all the 60’s radicals did. That would sting more, have a stronger impact, and maybe embarrass the few remaining dems with any sense of shame.

Did you ever hear of No Child Left Behind? The government schools where you live get federal tax dollars. Those dollars come with strings.
