Sometimes, 18 kids is simply not enough, so Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of Tonitown, Ark., are expecting a new addition to their household this spring.
That's right, at that point they will have five more children than Nadya "Octomom" Suleman and 11 more children than Jon and Kate Gosselin. Wow.
"We are so thrilled," says Michelle, 42. "We just can't believe it is happening."
You can't, Michelle? Not after the previous 18 times you were pregnant?
Her husband, Jim Bob Duggar, 44, agrees: "I never gets old. We are so grateful for each child. We look forward to our first grand baby and 19th child."
Their first grandchild is due soon, as their oldest son Joshua, 21, is apparently getting a fast start in joining the family profession of making humans.
He and his wife are expecting a daughter next month, who will be older than her new aunt or uncle: "I think it is going to be awesome," Josh said.

They know that each child is a blessing from God even handicapped children.
the Duggars are certainly best known not for their romps but the romper rooms in their 7,000 square-foot home,
Michelle and her husband Jim Bob are shooting the second season of “The Duggar Family: 17 and Counting.”
How do they do it? The answer, in part, can be found in their new book, appropriately titled, “The Duggars: 20 and Counting!: Raising One of America’s Largest Families—How They Do It.”
I’d assume they are taking advantage of the huge tax exemption.... :-)
Keep this up and they could have their own private church.
“They are blessed.”
Ditto.
Stop while ahead IMO.
I'll expand on my "wow" post. I would ask you this: why would you assume that this family shares your "values" (such as they may be) and attitude toward such children? For that matter, why should they care whether you think they should have more kids? And what business is it of yours?
Nothing wrong with saying stop at 19 or what ever she is at.
42 is old and at that point she is at a high risk for having children with problems.
We had one and we had only four, and we were not that old. The lady is a good baby-maker and since they are done the natural way, and in not in a lab, the odds are in her favor.
How much taxpayer money does that involve? (Hint: none)
100% yes!
I made the mistake of taking a peek at the comments. Wow! can you believe the hate some people have for large Christian homes? One moron called them cockroaches.
But with a gazillion kids already they don’t need to be making more when risks for bad results are very high.
There's a lot wrong with someone other than them saying stop (or go, for that matter). What business is it of yours?
42 is old and at that point she is at a high risk for having children with problems.
Do you think they don't know that? How is it anyone's decision but theirs whether it's worth the "risk" - and who are you to decide for them that having a child with a disability is worse than saying "stop"?
Yes I can. I have been the recipient of some of that hate and I only have 3 children.
Again - says who? Do you really think this should be your decision rather than theirs?
I heard some lefty women making snide comments about this situation.
I said “her body, her choice” and the look they gave me was priceless.
Exactly! I guess because it's not a Hollywood 'star' having them, buying them, shaking up or lesbian/gay couple. Then it would be 'fine' with them! As if anyone gives a crap what they think.
hehe..good one
Awesome.
Do you think Sarah Palin considers Trig a "bad result"?
