You guessed it -- Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were just thrilled to announce that they're expecting their 19th child. As usual, Viera just oohed and ahhed over the fantastic news, which comes only a few months after the eldest Duggar kid, Josh, announced that his new wife Anna is expecting their first child.

20 people in one household
have a much smaller “carbon footprint”
than 20 people in 10 households.

I was disgusted by the majority of comments to that horrible article. I am equally disgusted by some of the posters, here.
I will add to the few hearty congratulations to this beautiful, loving family. They have truly been blessed!

Must be tough for a a bitter woman like that to go cold turkey and pretend to be a good girl..... while attacking good girls

It probably really irks leftists that there are 19 kids whom won’t be indoctrinated in leftist ideology.

Here is the BIO on the Jim Duggar and his family
James Robert "Jim Bob" Duggar (born July 18, 1965), of Tontitown, Arkansas, is a former state legislator, who served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1999 to 2002. He is a real estate agent, and owns several commercial properties in his local area.[1][2]. He is best known as the father of the Duggar family, which currently includes eighteen children: Joshua, Jana, John-David, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, and Jordyn. On the September 1, 2009, episode of Today, Michelle Duggar announced that she is expecting her 19th child. Their oldest son, Joshua, and his wife Anna, also announced that they will name their new baby, which they are expecting on October 18, 2009, Mackynzie Renee.
These people are exactly what America needs now. If we don't have more of these families, we will be a Muslim country in about 100 years. This is a good family that is raising their kids to do right. Look at history, many of the greatest men and women of the last 500 years were from large families!!!!
Judging by some of the comments above, it seems as though the following prophecy that Jesus made is coming true right now..., Luke 23:29 "For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck."

Not having cable or satellite service, I assume you do have access to the internet on occasion. If you do want to read more about the Duggar family, you can at their website: http://www.duggarfamily.com/

Homeschooled, christian, conservative..... it’s a wonder they haven’t been sent to a reeducation camp somewhere with forced sterilization

LOL!
Be more afraid of the army of the fertile Kennedy Clan. Did you see the huge numbers of kith and kin at the funeral? Their Hyannis Port crowd looked more like the cast of "Spartacus".
And if you listened to the prayers by the young 'uns.....be MORE afraid. They're already brainwashed to the max.

Ok in my opinion at what point does it not put the moms life in danger? And then there are the other kids? Why should they have to be the care takers of the smaller kids. I watch the show because my wife makes me. Ok I am a push over to my wife. Ok maybe not sick but imho 19 babies? UGH. But you are correct they are good republican people with great morals. Ok so I concur I was wrong.. I have learned to say that being married 20 years..

As I’ve traveled about the world and returned to the States the thing that earmarks American children of all economic classes is that American children are spoiled.
Doing chores and WORK in the company of your brothers and sisters is a good thing. In El Salvador many girls do loads of laundry on a river rock. The Duggars have these labor saving machines.

Its ok. I understand the “I was wrong”. My husband and I agreed that he would make all the big important decisions in our marriage and I would make the small everyday decisions........thankfully in 37 years nothing big has come up.

Why should they have to be the care takers of the smaller kids. Why should older kids learn how to take care of children...
Gosh, I just don't know...

If that's the way you feel, then don't have 19 kids and raise your own children however you like. But these people seem to be doing a fine job with this brood.
Frankly, kids who have to work hard and contribute to the family seem to turn out to be better, more productive adults than kids who have a lot of free time or a lot of planned "kid" activities.
Think about it. In generations past, kids were expected to work hard - and our society was not digging itself into the pit of hell (or at least not as fast). Now, our kids have lots of free time, or are busy with planned "kid" activities - they are spared having to work hard to contribute to the family - and look at what our society has become.

That would probably be better directed at Nadya Suleman, a.k.a. the Octomom. Michelle, if the Wikicontributor got it right, has only ever had twins at one time.

Interesting ... it appears (from the website, at least), that JimBob is in actual fact the head of the household.
How thoroughly Biblical ... and countercultural.

Well I think that there is a limit to how much a teenager should watch their PARENTS children. Teens are supposed to have fun... LOL The kids are all well mannered and very wholesome. As I said I was wrong..
