You guessed it -- Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were just thrilled to announce that they're expecting their 19th child. As usual, Viera just oohed and ahhed over the fantastic news, which comes only a few months after the eldest Duggar kid, Josh, announced that his new wife Anna is expecting their first child.

Skank?
LOL!!!!
I concur. Enough is enough.
One of the criticisms I have of the Duggar IS that they made their ‘family’ a cottage industry. ABC isn’t camped out in Michelle Duggar’s bathroom, waiting for the pregnancy test to develop...they ‘alert’ the media themselves.
On ‘paper’ they appear awesome. On the TV show...well...those girls (in particular) lead a pretty hard life (sooo very much of household chores are the RESPONSIBILITY of the kids...not a chore...their ‘job.’) The camera catches all...and some of the episodes show (again the girls) marvelling at their new front loaders at their new house and how wonderful and more effiencient their laundry chores will...and the girl was like 12 or 13. Sorry...learning to be responsible and helping with assigned chores is different than having a younger sibling assigned to you; along with ten loads of laundry or cooking for 20 DAILY.
I agree, enough is enough of the attacks on this fine Christian Republican family.
That many children doesn't work for everyone - it wouldn't for me - but if you've ever watched the show they don't appear to be neglected at all - they are all very sweet and loving and you don't ever hear yelling or threats in that household - seems like a pretty decent way to grow up to me.
Oh ... and Hiram .. one more thing. .... If that picture in the earlier post is authentic, I see a beautiful family of well cared for kids, that are spotless, looked after, loved and in my view ... making asumptions here ... will all make great employees or employers someday.
Yeah looks are deceiving, but FIRST IMPRESSIONS carry a lot of weight. I go with my fist impressions ....
Either you are kidding or you don’t watch very much tv...
JimBob Duggar has invited the TLC camera crews in (and been paid for it...the documentation of the building of their new home was done so they could financially afford to finish the project...with the help of TLC).
Haha - and one of the sites I found had her list of favorite books, tv shows, hobbies.... “baby craving” is listed ... ha

We knew of a family once that took great pictures, but they lived in a mold infested dump. I think the Duggars are actually a good family.
That was a very negative article. Where are all the negative articles where couples decide to have NO children?? How about one that says, “John and Marcia have decided not to have children, so have Bill and Janet and Jim and Kate. While more and more people are choosing this lifestyle, we have to wonder what will our future look like?”
As far as I know, this is a very stable and loving family. Why attack them and their happiness? Maybe they’re raising their kids to be a little more conservative than the media feels comfortable with.
You're kidding, right?
Why?
I do not have (and consequently almost never watch) cable/satellite TV ... or any TV, for that matter.
It is surprising how many Freepers view children only from the point of view of materialism. The Duggars are a beautiful family, a very beautiful family.
One guy had a tagline saying that the best gift one can give their children is siblings. He gets it.
What’s a “confinement?”
Patriarchal, and that’s a GOOD THING, a biblical thing, and as God intended.
Stuff it feminazis.
It’s an archaic medical term for a delivery. Pregnancies are often referred to as EDC 9/1/09, for Estimated Date of Confinement (delivery.)
Well obviously others have already told you this family has a tv show. It began, if I recall correctly, with a documentary the oldest son made of the family when they began building their new home. He was 17 or 18 at the time. TLC picked it up and aired it as a documentary but people were interested in how this large family handled day to day activities...... oh and the kids are homeschooled too.
