Reading the latest outrage that Obama is releasing a terrorist that had actively planned an attack against the US, I wanted to see some organized response. I went to the RNC website.
While Obama is effectively dismantling everything of value in the US, who is fiddling? None other than the RNC website. Clicking on some obvious links on the home page to get to some "non bot" looking content reveals the problem. The website is undergoing an update as an obvious link titled "The State of the Website". OK, we can handle there is a transition, but the date of this update is May 15, 2009? What is going on? As Obama marches on making Chavez and Castro proud, the RNC offers a random YouTube if you happen to click in the right place.
Talk about squandering opportunity. Obama supports the commie thug in Honduras - BAM, a response from a GOP Senator - posted on the RNC website? Obama supports prosecuting those who pursued knowledge from our enemies, BAM, a response from a GOP Representative on the website? Dream on. Yes, I'm looking for a concise set of links listing the anti-freedom, death blows to our nation being performed by our current administration and why the GOP candidate and/or position is the valid alternative.
Going to a party website is the equivalent of going to the government, looking for answers.
Hell I don't think I've been to the RNC website more than five times in my life.
I think their webmaster is an Acorn member.
I’ve yet to see evidence that the GOP establishment understands that they are the opposition party. On the contrary, they seem to think that Sarah Palin is the biggest threat to the US.
Well said, Ralph.
And IF the GOP had any brains (and that’s a BIG ‘if’) the tact they SHOULD be using is to let the Dems hang THEMSELVES out to dry prior to 2010 while we keep our mouths shut. (They are doing a good job of that!)
Personally? I think it’s coincidence, but might be the ONLY thing that saves the party in the near future. I don’t think the GOP knows which end is up. I know the Wisconsin GOP sure doesn’t...but there are some glimmers of intelligence here and there amongst the WI Republicans as individual CongressCritters and up-n-comers.
Still, it’s akin to herding cats. *SHRUG*
The GOP? It’s dead, Jim.
Dig around in the America's Forum archives to see what we've been doing since our inception last year.
AIP is completely grassroots, and is already the nation's third-largest party based on voter registrations.
And it was founded by FReepers.
I hope Palin joins forces big time with Beck, Limbaugh etc. The Constitution is being shredded and the RNC is clueless.
Everybody I’ve met at the party caucuses and state convention are highly conservative people. I’m not aware of any issues with the state party. Do you mean they’re not as proactive as they should be?
People do not send the RNC a dime!
We don't need a third party we need a NEW party.
I am absolutley amazed .... only 57% want to throw the bums out of Congress. Congress badly needs to flush the turds down the drain, both parts are full of people who cannot be troubled to represent their constitutents - as they rape this country for every dime they can secure for themselves.
Democrats are actively dismantling the Constitution; and the Republicans are too cowardly to even go on record as to protest the rape. Throw the bums out.
They’re still using AOL via dial up. It’ll be a while. Just send money. Lot’s of money. And sit down and shut up while you’re sending it in.
The R-Party has been hijacked by the inept and politically
correct.
I have emailed the Chairman of the GOP, Michael Steele at least a thousand times since he was named Chair. At least getting close to a thousand times. Often a dozen times a day, giving him hints, insights, letting him know what was happening online . . . my response? Nothing.
I don’t think there’s unity over at the RNC. I think the GOP offices are full of LITTLE MINDED PEOPLE who are backstabbing each other instead of becoming a unifying force to oppose the Liberal Democrat (but I repeat myself) agenda.
And THEY wonder why no one wants to donate to them??????????????????
My opinion is that the RNC is silent because they don’t want the people to think they’re trying to capitalize on Obama’s failures. People are mad at the RNC too, Republicans got booed at the Tea Parties. So, they’re hoping to remain silent and let people come to them. Just my worthless 2 cents.
