Permit me to do the deed on your behalf:
Dear America,

Today, we are sailing toward dark waters. Although explored before, no ship has successfully sailed through and emerged for the better. While sailing from the Sea of Liberty toward the Sea of Tyranny we must make a decision which shall impact America as we know and love it.

Dark clouds of Statism and Communism are beginning to rain upon us, and no longer may we stand upon the deck of our mighty ship without feeling the precipitation of freedoms lost.

Those who are steering our great nation have not the slightest idea of the meaning of liberty and patriotism, and vastly underestimate the will and tenacity of The People.

As the great Ronald Reagan once said,

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.

More patriots must stand up and fight for freedom, for freedom is never free- it is the most expensive thing known to man. One may be born American, but a true patriot must act American, believe in America and what she stands for.

Our Constitution was not written in the sands to be washed away by each wave of new judges blown in by each successive political wind.

Proud Patriots across this nation must not sit any longer. The way which Americans conduct themselves on a daily basis is nearing a radical renovation, one which will dilute personal freedoms, evaporate liberties, and slowly but surely impose a tyrannical government exerting more and more control over the commonman.

For years, the people of our Republic have maintained their own business, foregoing public interaction with elected officials. This complacent attitude has allowed our representatives to turn into politicians, our courts to turn into activists, and our Constitution to be ebbed upon by the ever so slightest perversion, snuck into legislation after legislation.

Freedoms are never lost the most at one time, but over a succession of legislative moves that gently push us toward tyranny. Statists are never apparent; they are disguised as those who represent us. To quote Hamlet, “One may smile and smile and still be a villain.”

As of late, it seems as though more and more Americans are waking up; Town Halls across the nation are packed full of concerned citizens wanting their voice to be heard. Unfortunately, the statists in charge are ignoring those who speak up. Part of the Statist agenda is to convince the whole of America that all citizens agree with their policies and legislative maneuvers.

Do not be fooled, America. Do not allow yourself to be swindled by the flagitious politicians in charge. Do not allow myrmidons of Obama who are too blind to see actuality block your path to the preservation of liberty.

You must act now, for it is already far too late. Change is coming, that’s for sure. Our nation is about to be fundamentally changed from a Constitutional Republic to a form of tyranny which our founding fathers and generations of patriots before us gave their lives to prevent.

Many of us never thought that we would ever need to lay our lives down to protect liberty, freedom, and our Constitution, but reality is taking hold in more and more Americans. Wars were fought, lives were lost, and blood was spilt to ensure the prolongation of freedom. We must not forget our heros- the men and women buried in Arlington Nationally Cemetery, those who fought and died at Gettysburg, the men who died and remain in Germany, and those who lost their lives during the attacks of Pearl Harbor.

Forgetting these patriots is a sin– do not be so foolish to assume that they gave their lives for a time in history; they gave their lives for the future of America, a future which is looking increasingly dim. There is no substitute for action. Get involved today, and when you lay down upon your bed this evening, ask yourself, “What did I do for my country today?”

Now, get to work.

It is too late. Been too late for many years now. But nobody seems to want to do what is necessary, and I'm not going to speak my mind anymore. I'm going to do what everyone else here does and ignore it while I look for MY way out leaving the chumps behind.

Way too many did way too little for way too long, and let the enemy win through their fat and lazy inaction. America -- a great idea, didn't last.
