A year ago, the Obama campaign was reeling from a series of attack ads that suggested that the former community organizer saw himself as a messianic figure and juxtaposed Obamas environmentalist promise to heal the oceans with a film clip of Charlton Heston as Moses parting the Red Sea from the Cecil B. DeMille Biblical epic The Ten Commandments.
In retrospect, it seems as if Obama would have been better depicted as being overwhelmed in his attempts to halt the rising tide of red ink that has been the hallmark of his administration. Red ink may threaten to drown generations of American taxpayers thanks to Obamas binge of unaccountable and uncontrolled spending during the past eight months.
Keynesian economics (cynics must resist the urge to refer to the current Obama stimulus plan as Kenyan economics) seldom works miracles as promised. President Herbert Hoover initiated a massive federal construction program, which continued under his successor, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, that did little or nothing to improve unemployment or halt the economic crisis. How could Obama have spent so many months and years on the University of Chicago campus without learning anything about economics from the Nobel laureates on the faculty?

Red Ink? I thought this was going to be about him being a Commie ;-)
Either one, Chuck or Moses would have beaten Barry’s butt...
It imperils America. No problem for those who would rule from atop a stinking heap rubble and corpses.

Obama has crashed the bus!
Obama is really not all that smart. He may be arrogant, but not smart. For someone who wants to be revered in posterity, it is remarkable that he cannot see that he is sowing the seeds of an infamous legacy. It is the debt, stupid. And years from now, it will still be the debt with Barack Hussein Obama’s name all over it.
A rising red tide, eh? An appropriate theme for a week on the Vinyuhd.
The actual video of the commercial that seems so prescient now!

I'd forgotten just how sick the cult worship was. Partly because I avoid television, I hadn't seen much of it (although it was impossible to avoid completely).
When history looks back on the aftermath of Obama, and sees those adds...it will shake its collective head. (no pun intended, "collective").
