Well there were some military men like Thomas J. Jackson, Robert E. Lee, James Longstreet and a few of their close associates who gave it one heck of a good try. Do you honestly think that if Gettysburg Day 2 had gone the other way and the army of Northern Virginia had marched on Washington they would not have "Removed" Lincoln? Take a look at the percentage of active duty West Pointers who went rebel, it is over 50%. Only two garrisons in the entire south fired a shot, Forts Sumpter and Pickins. The rest turned over their facilities, weapons and supplies in tact to the rebels.

The big Union generals like Grant & Sherman were all out of the military when Sumpter was fired on. The best way to look at the Civil War is that the active duty army went largely Confederate. The Navy and the reserves went largely Union.

Over 45 young soldiers have died in Afghanistan this month. Does anyone care anymore? All this time spent on a POS like Kennedy yet this miserable communist POTUS doesn’t give the troops the time of day, has no plan, and his Government media hides this travesty. Parents, wives, kids, brothers are living a real tragedy daily and it is never mentioned because they have to give Obama good press.

Now POS Communist POTUS only needs a civilian Army to rise up against his own people.

Is he just keeping our soldiers over there dying to keep them out of his way?

Exactly. And he scored them a 100 billion dollar kick in the pants too. I don't know why some people don't see that ACORN is, and has been Obama's (and the other RATS who are behind all this)" militia and it has been trained, organized and expanding for many years now, into just about every state. It's HUGE!

In Article I, Section 8, of the Constitution, states that The Congress shall have Power

Congress is the key. If Obama tries to mobilize the CSF by presidential order or by order of the department of homeland security the Military is bound by the constitution to disarm and disband it.

As i pointed out if Congress if forced to confront that arming this force will cause a Civil War they will never approve it. I don't see men like Leiberman wanting that kind of blood on their hands. We only need a few senators to get queasy about starting a full scale civil war and this won't pass the senate. And the Military can stop Obama from raising and arming it without congressional approval.
