Every major urban area in the Northeast seems to be inflicted with these Fake Catholics (Democrat politicians who never miss a Church bazaar or Knights of Columbus event, but who never attend Mass and who vote for every piece of pro-abortion legislation that comes down the pike...but yet have their defenders amongst the clergy)
Kennedy reminds me of nothing so much as King Henry VIII. Divorcing one wife against Catholic doctrine. One woman dies due to his actions. Many, many sexual indescrections. Not to mention his inheriting his throne from his older brother, and just generally acting like royalty, lording it over the rest of us peons. Also there is a physical resemblance.
You don’t “cherish” your Catholicism by publicly working to further the Culture of Death throughout your entire career.
The problem with this is that he was a liberal democrat and people of the Catholic faith are traditionally liberal democrats, so the disconnect is not as clear to the general public as it is to us here.
