The man was in hot pursuit, the police were not there yet, he had an opportunity to apprehend the culprit and recover his goods, he had no way of knowing that this particular one of the robbers who had just forcibly held him and his wife captive had or did not have a gun . . . the bad guy turned toward him—bang, bang, end of story. A heart warming story, and a proper response by the old guy. We’re pretty much left with taking matters into our own hands anymore. The system (pick one, legal, social services, political) is so corrupt that we are fools to think we should just allow the system to work. I’m glad this guy killed that SOB. “I'm not in any condition to talk,” said the retired building fireproofer through the faint static of his intercom speaker. He wouldn't elaborate.

If there is no doubt this kid was one of the 4 who did this to him and his wife, I wouldn’t convict him if I was on the Jury. Little brat got what he deserved.
