I think any man who sees his wife bound with a gun to her head has a credible defense that he was traumatized to the point of insanity, justifying the homicide.

you can bet the judge will tell the jury they may only consider "the facts of the case" and that they cannot let their conscience,opinion of the law,or the motives of the defendants affect their decision...
