"Send a warrior to Congress."
"Does this look like a Rino?"
In the battleground of American political power, candidates for office tend to use every weapon at their disposal to be heard above the din.
Now, a U.S. Marine who helped lead the initial charge into Iraq to oust Saddam Hussein is taking that approach literally by brandishing his M-16 assault rifle in some eye-catching campaign fundraising ads.
"I'm taking full credit for that," says 28-year old Jesse Kelly of Tucson, Ariz., a Republican seeking to boot Democrat Gabrielle Giffords from the U.S. House of Representatives. "If you're not going to get anyone's attention, you might as well not waste your time or money."
Kelly, who is married and has a 9-month-old son, is splashing his spots across the Internet on high-profile sites such as the Drudge Report, and offering no apologies about the weapon imagery.
"I think people understand fully well that I'm serving my country," he said. "I'm in Iraq at war for my nation. I'm not posing in my bedroom with a gun."

Military Leaders returning home to seek political office...
Here in Minnesota there are barking moonbats who believe that those with military background should be excluded from participating in the political process because they have “too rigid thinking” (and then why the left fawning over Murtha disgrace to the Corps, (censored)). One specifically in Colleen Rowley, who opposed John Kline and ran an ad of John Kline in an SS uniform.
Giffords is a freshman “Blue Dog” who pretends to be conservative but has voted in lock step with Pelosi.
She ran just as much on her husband’s background (AF pilot) as her own.
Hopefully the folks of the 8th district will see through her sham and knock her out in next year’s election.
Check out the pic of him & his little baby boy on his donation page. He's doing this for him....Pricelss!
We’re grooming them here in AZ! At our annual republican picnic, the two guys who are going to run against McCain, Simcox and Dearkins(?) were there..both extremely conservative, young and anxious....Maybe something great will come out of this mess we’re in...
Not here in Mohave..Trent Franks was here yesterday and today and we’re fired up...the two guys running against McCain came here and they’re ready to fight.
I like this guy and am considering sending him a donation. We need more of his kind if we’re going to withstand this tyrannical onslaught from the libs.
GUILTY!!!!!
Take out NcLame and Gabby and we might stand a chance again.
Go Jesse Go
BUMP!
I have been saying for several years that the next crop of leaders worth their salt are currently in training in the middle east.
Two guys running against McCain?????
The insiders (and McCain is the ultimate insider here) usually create a scenario where the vulnerable incumbent has two challengers.
Here in Pennsylvania I’ve seen it in state legislative and congressional races where vulnerable RINO incumbents end up with two opponents.
I think the political insiders set up the contests that way.
That helps the incumbent to win.
BETTER FIGURE OUT WHO THE REAL CONSERVATIVE IS IN THIS SITUATION AND GET BEHIND THEM.
IS ONE OF THEM A FAKE CANDIDATE RIDING SHOTGUN FOR MCCAIN?
MCCAIN WILL WIN IF THE OPPOSITION VOTE IS DIVIDED.
He’s already been to several...and ate the lunch of any democrat dumb enough to challenge him on HR3200.
Jesse is one of 4 Republican candidates seeking to unseat Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ8).
I listened to Jesse at a rally Saturday morning; I believe he is the most capable and best positioned of the 4 to beat her.
NO..they are both legit...we’re just going to weed it out and see who is better. Here’s our little dilemma...the stronger candidate is the guy who founded the Minutemen. He’s a 48 year old attractive guy and he can hold his own. The problem is he has some drama around him...long story. The other guy is just a business owner..smart, inexperienced..just stepping up. He’ll probably fall by the wayside.
“the stronger candidate is the guy who founded the Minutemen”
Unfortunately, The Southern Poverty Law Center and La Raza/ACORN/SEIU will spend MILLIONS to paint a guy like that as a racist.
Hell, they ALREADY call him a racist!
“The few, the proud.”
Semper Fi,
Kelly
(no relation LOL)
