A Hollywood conservative has headed East. It's "Freedom Concert" time for Jon Voight. The Academy Award winner will join Sean Hannity in Cincinnati and Atlanta this weekend to honor fallen soldiers and present college scholarships to surviving children. Mr. Voight -- a warrior himself in many ways -- has been cogitating about the state of America, meanwhile.
"There's a real question at stake now. Is President Obama creating a civil war in our own country?" Mr. Voight tells Inside the Beltway.
"We are witnessing a slow, steady takeover of our true freedoms. We are becoming a socialist nation, and whoever can't see this is probably hoping it isn't true.

I noticed that the Katrina\ Rita thing was coordinated by the state police when I was called up.
I think the problem began in the 1910’s with the first formation of the “Progressive” movement. It was in that era, that the income tax amendment (unlimited taxation to the Fed) and the amendment removing State’s control of the US Senate through appointment by the State Legislatures and replacing it with a second House of Representatives.
Add all the other Progressive ideas pushed by the Roosevelt’s, Wilson, etc and the 1960’s is just a step along the way.
We have irreconcilable differences - time to get a peaceful divorce.
Notice how now that democrats are in control they want government to run their lives? They are so short sighted to see that the natural political cycle will bring back ‘evil greedy ‘ republicans in power again someday and an evil (their viewpoint) Dick Cheney will have access to all their records and lives then.
Each side cant see the other side in power again.
I prefer a citizens takeover.

He knows that such a war would be the most efficient method to destroy this country, if that is his intention. Just imagine the many subcultures in this nation, each with its own axe to grind.

There are a lot of books that point out the beginning of the Socialization of America by the installation of a Central Bank (The Federal Reserve System) in 1913, along with the first income tax.
Then in 1932, Roosevelt took advantage of the NWO-created depression to start building Socialist empires in Washington, such as Social Security and all those alphabet agencies.
“The Unseen Hand” by Ralph Epperson is one of the best books on the subject.
I’ve observed that most wars (civil or not) get started when one group takes over the military outpost/base of another, and won’t give it up. The bulk of the subsequent war involves ending the occupation thereof, and eradicating the group that did it. Everything else is just ripple effect.
For all this CWII hypothesizing, nothing will happen until someone occupies gov’t space without permission and doesn’t give it up.
Neither. If it gets that bad both powers would concentrate on moving their own geopolitical plans ahead at the expense of the USA's international power.
The USA would be left to self destruct in the dust.
Like a heated domestic dispute, methinks both parties would on the whole unite to drive out the interloper, then return to the family feud.
