A Hollywood conservative has headed East. It's "Freedom Concert" time for Jon Voight. The Academy Award winner will join Sean Hannity in Cincinnati and Atlanta this weekend to honor fallen soldiers and present college scholarships to surviving children. Mr. Voight -- a warrior himself in many ways -- has been cogitating about the state of America, meanwhile.
"There's a real question at stake now. Is President Obama creating a civil war in our own country?" Mr. Voight tells Inside the Beltway.
"We are witnessing a slow, steady takeover of our true freedoms. We are becoming a socialist nation, and whoever can't see this is probably hoping it isn't true.

I do not think that politics can solve the fundamental division between Free America and he forces of liberal fascism. Our political system and our government are illegitimate. The GOP is only allowed to exist in order to provide an illusion of choice. I do not believe the liberal fascists will allow a peaceful separation. We are at the same point that Germany was in the late 1920s, a very precarious position. Liberal fascists control the government, the media, academia, the legal profession, most major corporations, and most large institutions. With all of that, I still believe that Americans can win.

Thanks for restating my point clearly, these folks are fun to watch when losing and they make taking away freedoms of speech and to bear arms sound like compassion.

Is it possible that the U.S. will actually break up into smaller regional countries? Are there any history professors or sociology professors here who could explain how that will work out. Id like to refrain from constant Civil War stuff because War is always an act of aggression and there have been hundreds of countries who dissolved without one side trying to force the other side to just obey. Unless Im wrong, and thats where the History Professor could help me out.
I'm just a working class guy who is into history a lot but I just think that throughout history, a lot of large empires become corrupt, bloated, lazy and overcontrolling to the point where something goes wrong and they break up. We have been in an ideological cold war since the 1960's and I believe this is the main catalyst for a breakup although you cannot ignore other factors like ethnic, race and so on, unfortunately, but overall the main split is ideological. You have tow main views of America, one the traditional where you make it by yourself with little or no governmental interference with no welfare state or at least a welfare state just enough to take care of those who truly cannot take care of themselves for medical reasons. The other side wants a socialist state like any other country in Europe to even a Communist state. These two diametrically opposed views cannot coexist, one pulls the country one way, the other takes it in an opposite direction, at some point something will blow. We here believe that America should stay as it was.
The bad thing is if this happens, some outside power could panic an start an atomic war, perhaps Russia or Red China, and along with an internal split the Feds will lose power and cease to exist with the possible exception of a "rump USA" surrounding the DC area. Although territory will play a plat, it isn't as decisive as it was curing the Civil War.
I guess "new countries" you could see is a "rump USA," "Ecotopia" in the Northwest, "Deseret Republic/Empire" in Utah, a "New Confederacy," and so on. You might see the likes of Aztlan, a Black Republic or even a small "Aryan Nation" in Idaho. There will be others too.

Well I believe it is what he is hoping for. When the shooting starts it will be blamed on the right and we can see the systematic rounding up perse of Republicans, gun owners people who are not worthy of the state.. He wants something to happen so he can suspend the constitution. I know alot of Libs thought Bush would do that and I laughed, but this guy really does have it in him.. Remember the saying “by any means neccesary”.

“We have been losing our freedom for many years”
77, to be precise.
The way they (NWO) usually do it, they create a crisis, like a world war or a depression, and then “solve” the problem by instituting their agenda, like the U.N. or government social programs and bureaus.
Thats why Rham Emmanuel said, “Never waste a good crisis”. That’s what he meant.

More likely it will read, “In Obama We Trust”

Happy to help! ;-)
they make taking away freedoms of speech and to bear arms sound like compassion
It's frustrating that their fan base doesn't see that. It's a bread and circuses moment. It's the 'other people' syndrome. 'Other people' will lose their right to *fill in the blank* free speech, bear arms, religion, but surely not them. Hopefully they won't have to find that one out the hard way.

No. State police are a little different (but of course will vary from state to state in their own differences). Their chain of command is different. There’s nobody in between the Sheriff and (usually) the state’s Attny General or whatever the title of the top lawman of the state is.
The state police do not grant or deny feds from being in the state, I have never seen that the feds have to get THEIR permission to be in the state. They do have to get the sheriff’s permission to be in the county they want to conduct operations in.

“Is President Obama creating a civil war in our own country?”.....
The question must be asked!.....He has no mandate to take the country hard left! At least half of us will not live under socialism. Where is it all headed?

Short answer...yes. Long answer...he thought it was going to be much easier to turn us into a turd world dictatorship. He is doing this on purpose.
MrB has it right (#12), our defense must start at the state level.
