He'll just say that Bush created such a terrible mess that no one could fix it - that he's trying, but it will take a very long time. Then he'll start all sorts of investigations into Bush Administration practices. And he'll start crying that the American people are spoiled and childish and expect instant gratification and are unwilling to make sacrifices. Then he'll start quoting the Bible - maybe some Old Testament prophet - to show how sinful we have become, under the demonic Bush. (He may even borrow some stuff from Jeremiah Wright.)

He should do all this live from his Martha's Vineyard Grand Vacation...perhaps aboard a Kennedy yacht to invoke JFK with Michelle in big shades and a kerchief a la Jackie lounging in the background. That would work.

Why? This is not an Internet poll in the sense it is open to anyone. You must register to be on his list. A questionnaire is completed and then when a poll is being prepared emails are sent out to the registered members who will be participating.

A very serious Chris Wallace just told the Friends that he’s covering the Death Book, end of life counseling by the VA, on this Sunday’s show.

Good! Chris Wallace did a good job getting at some key issues in the health care reform bill last week. The VA end of life counseling stuff is quite revealing and needs exposed.

Good point. However, one consideration that Rahm must make is Obama's military competence.

As you are aware, Obama has no military experience. His lack of experience in diplomacy has led to several minor disasters; his lack of experience in military matters will likely lead to several major disasters. To his credit, Obama has left most of the Bush administration military structure intact, thus we haven't seen any screw ups with ongoing conflicts.

New conflicts that would require Obama to provide leadership would cause more harm to Obama's image, and I hope Rahm Emanuel is smart enough to realize this.

With all due respect, that’s one guy. Consistent polling across the board show 95+% support among African Americans for zero. It’s gunna be tough for them to watch, imho.
