The title says it all. The man has said he will not vote for the bill. Good for him.
To: markomalley
Wasn’t this the democrat who voted to impeach Clinton?

why does everyone say its Obama’s plan? He has no plan. he just wants stuff socialized. Its the dem congress’s plan - they wrote it.
To: markomalley
"I would hope that everyone in this room knows by now that I am not going to vote for the health care plan," Taylor said, eliciting a standing ovation.I like his style!

“They wrote it” but Barry will be historically credited with it being HE has to sign any such bill/legislation.

Yes, he was. In fact, he voted for all four articles of impeachment.
He’s more conservative than many Republicans.

Except for bankrupting or otherwise destroying the country, does Obama have a plan?

He got mad at somebody recently at some townhall, but Taylor has usually been the Ben Nelson of the house. Of course, that was before Ben started voting like Harry Reid.

I’m surprised. He has consistently said “moderate” and voted extreme liberal. We’ll see.

You can’t be serious.
This is ostammer’s baby. Congress is just giving him cover by claiming it’s their doing.
To: markomalley
I saw him in a youtube video and he is one of the good guys...I wish we had him in the republican party...he is better than a whole lot of these republicans....

Why is he a D? I know, it’s historical, and all. He must agree more with them, than with us, right?

Yes that is what the MSM media keeps tells us. But it is all BS. Obama does not have a plan. He can’t even state consistently whether the public option needs to be in or out. Obama is nothing but hot air and just wants some sort of health bill passed so he can get credit for it.
This is Congress’s plan not his. Much of this has been in works by Kennedy and his ilk for years.
To: plain talk
Its the dem congresss plan - they wrote it. I'm sure you can give Tom Daschle plenty of credit.
To: Luke21
If Taylor starts voting like Harry Reid, he will be out on the street before he can say “spit”! The district he represents is one of the most conservative districts in the country.

Who knows?
If he agrees with them more than us, it certainly doesn’t show in his voting record.

Taylor has stated he is opposed to this bill only because of cost. Otherwise, he'd happily shove this load of crap down our throats.
For the first time in many years, there is a good chance to unseat Taylor and replace him with a true conservative. He sounds conservative and may vote correctly on occasion, but he votes with Charlie Rangle about 80% of the time, voted for Pelosi as speaker, etc.
His party line vote is 79%.
He is rated at 24 by the American Conservative Union
