I missed this yesterday at Newsbusters but Treacher, rightly aghast, tipped me to it this afternoon. Never will you see a starker example of MSNBC getting away with the sort of deception for which Fox News would be pilloried, especially in the context of race. If you missed Monday’s post about this, go watch the footage (or look at this photo) and see if you can deduce why they wouldn’t want to show the guy with the rifle from the neck up during this particular segment. For all the well-deserved heat that MSNBC’s primetime line-up has taken for its demagoguery — Maddow has been notably egregious during the health-care blowup — this proves that they’re not above pulling this crap during their daytime “hard news” segments either.
When you’re done with the clip, scroll through the new photo gallery Zombie’s put together of the many, many, many “Kill Bush” signs at leftist protests over the past eight years. Thank goodness outlets like MSNBC and the Huffington Post took such “blunt, no-argument stances” against that sort of insanity at the time.

I get E-mails all the time saying “Send us money Now to put this Ad on TV” I was just thinking, why are we sending money to the SRM to counter it’s own spin? Don’t you get more of anything you subsidize? Rather than reward these treasonous liars I say find other ways of advertising, stop feeding the beast!

I couldn’t find it because I don’t recall the thread title. it was this morning that I read that it was a stunt and several people were in on it. Not conservatives.

“The protester carrying an AR-15 rifle outside President Barack Obama’s speech in Phoenix on Monday staged the “publicity stunt” with the help of two local Libertarian groups that have worked with the man on Ron Paul’s presidential campaign.
Before attending a pro-Obama health-care reform rally outside the Phoenix Convention Center, the man who identified himself as “Chris” met with members of RP4409 and Freedom’s Phoenix. That’s according to Freedom’s Phoenix Publisher Ernest Hancock, who is credited with coining and designing the logo for the “Ron Paul r3VOLution.”

Lucky for me I wasn’t watching. Not sure that anyone else that matters was watching either. Those who watch that garbage station are going to vote straight Democrat all the way to their graves regardless of the issues.
Thank you so much for finding that. I know I’m getting old and forgetful, but I knew I read that and I was beginning to wonder if I was losing my mind because no one else knew about it.
