An outstanding townhall moment was when terminally dumb Sen Claire McCaskill D-Missouri incredulously asked irate townhallers, "Don't you trust me?"
Also a fave was Cong Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) on her cellphone as a cancer survivor was speaking.
"Make that three double pepperoni pizzas, four gallons of Pepsi,
and three loaves of garlic bread. And deliver it in 10 minutes, after
I get rid of these annoying constituents. I'm starved. " Don't You Trust Me?)
Ezekiel "End of Life" Emanuel, MD, PhD
Special Advisor for Health Policy
Office of Management and Budget
"Death panels" What Death Panels? I'm a workaholic and an overachiever.
With my perfect academic credentials, I should be allowed to pull the plug on granny.
"DUH! Is this a trick question from one of those viscious townhall MOMSTERS?"
A memorable moment: when Presser Sect Robert "The Boob" Gibbs called townhallers
The Brooks Brothers Brigade (insinuating racism).
"All the people opoosed to me should get out of the way (cough, cough)."
"(Sob) I love hope and change."
"Under Obamacare I get a free high-tech penile implant with microscopic
cameras and remote video relays to wide screens in Planned Parenthood
offices....to make sure we Americans are using sanitary sexual organs.
Obama says this will save zillions on STD medical costs. "
"And with my sanitary Obamacare Penis-a-Go-Go, I never, ever have
to use a rolled-up sock again."
A heckler telling Arlen Specter that he was in the twighlight of his career.
Great topic.
My favorite moment is watching Ezekiel Emanuel getting confronted about rationing policy papers.
He’s on a panel created by the stimulus bill, called Federal Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research. They are taking a look at what procedures should be covered on who, with cost cutting in mind. This is rationing, denial of care, or a death panel depending on what terminology you want to use.
(Obama needs two to three trillion dollars in savings from rationing to pay for the uninsured, this panel will start to get it for him)
This panel had a public Q&A session... ok it’s not a town hall but it’s good enough for this thread.
The person confronting Ezekiel in this video is a Larouche loyalist, which means he is really nutty on some things to a degree that would make typical freepers really disgusted. But put that aside for a moment and enjoy this video and Ezekiel’s reaction, because he’s right on the money here.

This would otherwise be a good clip. It illustrates very well why Rush does not allow people to READ long statements. They should KNOW the information and make quick references and quotes from the statement. The impact gets lost in the poor reading skills of this man.
Heh----and to make it sweeter---later the polls showed Arlen collapsed 12 points AFTER his townhalls. Previously Arlen was up 11 points.....a 23-point switcheroo.
Sweet.
"Dial-a-Dick is part of Obamacare's public option."
There are so many.
I kind of like Barney Frank from last night addressing a a questioner...”What planet are you living on?”
what an ass.
IMHO, the more Bwaney shows his fat, lipless face, the more Americans recoil in horror.
I saw the clip of Frank’s boyfriend,excuse me,office manager
trying to throw out a member of audience.
my favorite is the guy who got up to leave Specters town hall because he wasn’t going to be allowed to speak..and then was able to speak because of the ruckus...and his claim that one day Arlen and the rest of his cronies would stand before God and receive their judgement...as he waves around the US Constitution

That whole clip is great.
Hannity and others need to turn Barney into the next Rev. Wright - play that clip over and over and over and over. Classic!
Let's hope this is the case.
By the way, Elizabeth, you don't have a *humble* opinion on anything. And that, is meant as a compliment. :^)
The best expression of sentiment by a constituent goes to...
The lady that said “We’re tired of being lied to and lied about.”
LOVE that lady who said:
"Don't like being lied to. Don't like being lied about."
(Blush) That’s so true.
My favorite was actually a multi-step event:
The doctor at Sheila Jackson-Lee’s “closed to the public” townhall who stood up in support of ObamaCare, who turned out to be a social work graduate student at the U of Houston and (to add astro to the turf) was an Obama delegate.
Fake doctor at a fake townhall: Priceless.
LEE "Pepperoni?
FAKE DR MAYER "Ummm...I love it."
"Make that three double pepperoni pizzas, four gallons of Pepsi,
and three loaves of garlic bread. And deliver it in 10 minutes, after
I get rid of these annoying constituents. I'm starved. "
LEE "Time to party."
