COEUR D'ALENE -- The Aryan Nations is experiencing an unwanted resurgence in North Idaho.

SNIPPET: "However, a man named Paul Mullet claims he is going to bring the racist organization back."

SNIPPET: "Mullet says he moved here from Ohio five months ago because North Idaho is the "last stand" for the Aryan Nations movement. Mullet says he's in the process of buying a large amount of land in the area."

SNIPPET: "Monday's distribution of racist material in Spokane Valley's Trentwood neighborhood was the latest in a series of similar incidents. Aryan Nations literature has also been recently spread in Coeur d'Alene."

What is known about KREM Channel 2 TV?

They are affiliated with CBS not a bastion of truth, fairness and unbaised reporting with the likes of Walter Conkite, Dan Rather and Evening news anchor Katie Couric.

Many local news outlets swing much further to the left than ABC, CBS, NBS, MSNBC, Ganett, PBS, CNN, AP, NYT and others.

How much can we rely on KREM TV and KREM.com for accuracy and facts in their reporting?

Is KREM TV just another local small town outlet of the MSM?

I would want to know before I put much confidence in their "journalism".

It was directed at the media,,,,not at you.

There is the old saying: Don't shot the messenger (the media). I don't advocate shooting the media, but since the mid 1960's my trust and confidence in the media's reporting has fallen a long way. Gone over a cliff might be a better way of stating it.

The political editor of the Bellingham Herald posted an article about this resurgence of the Aryan Nation activity in Idaho, a few weeks ago. The article was an interview with a woman who was sent to COEUR D’ALENE to head up a minority action council to combat the white supremists. The article was very poorly written and so biased that it made the whole issue sound a bit incredible or uncredible, if that was a real word. The crazy miniority woman talked about the community of retired law enforcement officers in Idaho, including Mark Furhman, who fled LA to escape the high minority population.

I would not be surprised if the recent flyers were sent out by the minority council, themselves, in an effort to gin up some back lash against the Aryan nation.

I don’t think that there is real resurgence in Idaho, right now. There is just some new minority council that opened there at the exact time that they claimed the resurgence. I think it was about the same time as the inauguration.

LOL! Yep, but it's a resort town and you have to expect that sort of thing. Athol's about 15 miles south of my place and if this gent has decided he's going to purchase a "large amount of land" there he'd better bring his checkbook. Things have changed since Butler stunk up Hayden.

I'm thinking, though, that what we have here is an outlander from Ohio and a reporter with a penchant for hyperbole. It's all part of the "anyone who opposes 0bama is a racist" meme. There's quite a bit of it to come our way yet, IMHO.
