Supporters of intelligent design are accustomed to fending off charges that ID is a front for creationism, a theocratically inspired ploy to sneak God and religion into the public schools and effectively put an end to real science in our country.
Barbara Forrest, a professor of philosophy in Louisiana, puts it this way:...

What now? Are you not a creationist? You are posting an article that says ID is valid because it’s NOT creation???
So ID is atheism now?
I can only get one common theme across all your posts, ‘Evolution is BAD’
Well, this would solve the problem. Teach ID in the philosophy class, as I have long suggested.
Funny.
How do you know he’s white, and why are using racist black slang to refer to the author’s supposed ethnicity?
Seems to be no logical chain here, this is the shotgun approach hoping some pellets will hit something.
You are living proof of that.
Your just upset that your fellow evo-atheists are starting to break ranks and declare that ID asks valid scientific questions. Your pain is palpable.
Thanks for the ping!
I thought you were a creationist, Now you post a atheist ID post that disses Creationism?
I know, “evolution bad, the details dont matter , dont think about it too much”
it’s the frequency of the bad evolution posts that count.
According to one of your fellow atheists and author of the book reviewed above, you are missing the most important question, SOL. Why do you avoid it so?
RE :”According to one of your fellow atheists “
Apparently your fellow atheists. Dont your atheistic IDers claim creationism is black magic too?
I thought it was Darwinism (as he understands it) that he hated.
Care to comment on this from the article rather than the red herring you are waving?
Ive been told that the battle over intelligent design is like a war between two camps, he writes, but one of the purposes of this book is to transcend that. Perhaps that sounds idealistic. An early reviewer warned him that if he tried to remain neutral on the cultural war represented by ID, he would necessarily serve one side. Monton responds, my goal is simply to evaluate the arguments on both sides as objectively as I can. If this ends up serving one side more than the other, I dont care; my goal is to do the best I can to get at the truth.

The other important question is what this book will contribute to the ID controversy. Is an atheists defense an unconditional blessing for intelligent design? Not necessarily. Ironically, it could end up being the most dangerous force ID has ever encountered. And thats a good thing.
Impossible in your narrow minded little world.
GodGuns is a creationist posting an article from a Christian blog by an atheist that supposedly likes ID. So is this article trying to make an argument against itself like the 1980s scientific Creationist arguments did?? The article subtitle is "Seeking God in Science" then goes on to argue ID is not about creation. Read this non-sense closely:
“Seeking God in Science: A new book challenges those assumptions, arguing that ID actually is science, that it is not necessarily tied to belief in God, that it is distinct from creationism,... “
Ping for later.
