Last week I was at my local Wal-Mart doing some shopping. As always, I walked by the sporting goods counter just to check on the ammo supply. I spied TWO boxes of Remington .223 on the shelf behind the counter while the clerk talked on the phone. As soon as he hung up, I asked for the two boxes of .223's. He took out his keys, took out the boxes of ammo, and placed them under the counter (out of sight). He then told me that the person that he had been talking to on the phone had just "reserved" them before I asked for them.
Yeah, right!

Reminds me of standing line...I was in line at Target awhile ago. Three other people in front of me.
All of them were blathering on their #@$@$! cell phones, talking about absolutely nothing...none of them even acknowledged the poor clerk.
I was very careful to speak with her, Wished her a nice day, prompted WBill Jr. to say "Bye-Bye". When I left she had a huge grin on her face.
Common courtesy is uncommon in today's society.
