Good point. These are folks who wouldn't think twice about taking a cell phone call in the middle of a job interview, and then complaining later about losing the job offer to "the man"...

Reminds me of standing line, money in my hand, to pay for a product at a department counter when the phone rings and the salesperson says excuse me and turns to answer the phone.....See the person on the phone gets priority over the person that traveled, parked, and selected merchandise at the store.

I have patients try to answer their cellphones when I am examining their eyes.

If they do, I leave the examination room.

I might come back, then again maybe not.

Across the board, cell phones and their gross and frivolous misuse, have ushered in a new level of incivility and a general lack of courtesy that our forebears would have found breathtaking.

Not to mention, incredibly insulting.
