He says that he will not vote for (or maybe he said support) a bill that gives healthcare for illegals. He did not hedge - it was a flat out statement. I stopped believing him right there. The Medicare prescription bill has a penalty for every medicare recipient who fails to sign up for an 'approved' prescription drug plan. That penalty, once imposed, continues to be imposed, even if the recipient signs up for a drug plan in later years.
