Hillary Clinton: I'm Secretary of State, Not Bill (Hillary has hissy fit)

VIDEO: Hillary snaps on student

--------------------

KINSHASA, Congo -- U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's temper flared on Monday when a Congolese university student asked her for her husband's thinking on an international financial matter.

A week after former President Bill Clinton traveled to North Korea to secure the release of two detained American journalists and stole the limelight from the start of his wife's first trip to Africa, Clinton was clearly displeased by the question at town hall forum in Kinshasa.

You want me to tell you what my husband thinks?" she replied incredulously when the male student asked her what "Mr. Clinton" thought of World Bank concerns about a multi-billion-dollar Chinese loan offer to the Congo.

"My husband is not secretary of state, I am," an obviously annoyed Clinton said sharply. "If you want my opinion, I will tell you my opinion. I am not going to be channeling my husband."

The question was left unanswered as the moderator of the event quickly moved on.

If she has any trump cards against B.O., I wish she would play them now. But she probably will lie low until the Dems’ precious “health” care fiasco is passed.

Wow! Good thing there wasn’t an ashtray or lamp nearby.

While I understand her frustration at the question, as Secretary of State and a former First Lady, she should be able to handle herself with grace under pressure. If Condolezza Rice had done ANYTHING close to this, she would have been raked over the coals for months and called all sorts of names like, “undignified”, “unprofessional”, “a loose cannon”, and on and on. Then dems would have demanded she resign.

Bill must be on one of his binges with the ladies while Hillary is in Africa.

Rice is a true lady who is brimming over with brains, too. Didn’t I see a picture recently of an in-your-face protestor, covered with fake blood, confronting Condi? Didn’t faze Condi.

Yep, she didn’t get those two back from NK, Bill did.

I have to defend Hillary on this one. If I were her, I may have snapped given the same situation. Bill is a former POTUS. If I were married to a former POTUS, currently serving as the Sec. of State, answering questions in a country where women are second-class citizens and someone asked me what the former POTUS thought about something, I would be deeply insulted. The question as posed was extremely inappropriate given her position in the government.

In a casual social setting, the same question might not be as insulting.

2. Dowdy hair style by Floyd the Barber — $5.50
3. Sensible shoes from PayLess — $14.99
4. Watching PIAPS explode at a Congolese journalist’s question about channeling Bill — PRICELESS!!

From the way she looked in a clip on the AM news, she was definitely having a bad hair day with severe water retention.

Must have been a thoroughly exhausting trip to Kenya to bury the bodies and burn the paper trail with little help from the local bureaucrats wondering why they should help her.

Exactly!

And she still wants to be president?? She can't even handle doing 1/5 of the job Condi did!

“You want me to tell you what my husband thinks?... My husband is not secretary of state, I am,”

LOL... I can not see how this is an inappropriate remark at all, given the position she has found herself in.

‘how the mighty have fallen’

She has to be wondering often about the proper time to resign, and strategy following that.

Hillary is imploding because she is simply too practical. She makes a lot of choices for the wrong reasons.

"My husband is not secretary of state, I am," an obviously annoyed Clinton said sharply.

Probably already noted by a few, but I have to say that if she's indeed the Secretary of State, she should have brokered the release of those moonbat journalists from North Korea - not Bill.

The only reason she got angry at the question is because she knows (and so do lots of other people) that she's nothing more than an affirmative action hire with no credentials.

Classless act. More understanding would be in order since she was in a ‘FRICKIN’ FOREIGN COUNTRY! Hillary, dear, your lack of diplomatic skill is showing.
