Congress Should Boycott MSM Reporters, Sunday Talk Shows
Self | 8/8/2009 | Reg Shoeman

Republican members of Congress should consider a boycott of the biased MSM reporters. Obama uses preselected questions and reporters. Conservative can use PRESELECTED REPORTERS. Let's see how the MSM responds after a week or so of the "silent treatment". YOUR THOUGHTS?

TOPICS: Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: boycott; congress; msm; sundaytalkshows

Please join the “You’re Fired” Campaign putting politicians in office on notice. The American people have been betrayed. Arrogant Elitist Politicians care about nothing but personal power. Please read the details of this campaign and forward this to your email address book. Print it out and hand it to your neighbors and friends. Our country and our freedom are at stake as well as your children and grandchildren’s futures. If you do nothing else, forward this to everyone and forward it to your elected Elitist. Time to clean out the Congress and start over with patriotic Americans with integrity that love this country more than their own personal power.

I don’t think that would be a good idea. We have to have someone on the shows to counter the lies the other side, along with the MSM spouts constantly. Our main problem, is that most constituents are more versed in the subject than the representatives are.

No, that’s giving up the field of battle.

They need to quit being polite, middle of the road, pussies, and take the libs head on!

Currently, White House officials and staff are forbidden to to talk to FOX News. I doubt most viewers have noticed or care. FOX News instead simply interviews former Republican notables like Cheney, Gingrich, Dick Morris, Karl Rove, etc. and asks their opinion on events in the Obama White House. This is more interesting than listening to some Obama hack reciting canned rhetoric.

Why not the MSM is already for an echo chamber for the Dems anyways. I love todays manipulated headlines on the unemployment issue. We all know how they would’ve read if Bush were still in office.

The media are a disgrace to the truth and humanity and a testament to Zero’s Hitler like influence and Orwell’s prophecy.

I think go on the shows but call that media outlet out for instance

Excuse Matthews but I expect you to report the truth and not report the Dem talking points, I know you get the chills up your leg because you said so but I feel you need to report what is going on and report how the man who gives you tingles up your leg is the same guy asking for people to rat on others if they oppose obama’s agenda.

or TO CNN
Well Wolf I see you have not reported how the Dem party has sent out paid union thugs to beat anyone who oppose obama’s health care and why have you not reported on how the president has now said he will attack twice as hard and is now mentioning bringing guns.
Honestly wolf you and your station are doing a great disservice to the viewers and maybe that is why your ratings are going down.

call them out I say and ask them on their cameras why they are not reporting certain issues and why do they not report on the UK health care system which is awful

There would be no more “taken out of context” They already hate the right. They would probably blow a gasket.

It may get some of them fired due to “lack of subject matter”. How about a 24-48 hours boycott. Would be fun to see.

MSM are not that much different from politicians. Love to talk...some may have breakdown, or with luck, some of our “favorites” may commit hara kiri!

The republican congressmen do not finance the reporter’s paycheck... YOU DO if you subscribe to cable news... whether you watch it or not.

Wait. The media interviews Republicans? Who knew??

If the GOP boycotted the news shows, it would look almost the same as it does now. And John McCain and his tramp daughter would still be on it.

I’ve been echoing this idea for a long time. Boycott em!
The state media could no longer pretend to be objective.
They would only be talking to themselves and fellow useful idiots and soon become even more irrelevant than they are now. MSNBC is a prime example of irrelevancy.

Other than DeMint, I don’t know any conservative senators appearing on state run media anyways. The state media will never be fair to us. A boycott, at the minimum, might make them think twice about their slanted reporting.

The problem is that mostly RINOS show up on the state media providing about the worst image the republican party can project. It would be great if Steele could issue a pub boycott, but, let’s face it, the McCains and Grahams love getting that face time.

Boycotting is a great idea. I’d love to see how the state media would react to it. Unfortunately, given our prima donnas, it’s a non-starter.

Also wish that Buchanan and Bennet would cross over from enemy lines too.

“They need to quit being polite, middle of the road, pussies, and take the libs head on!”

I agree, but none of our guys do, so what’s the point?
Better not to show up than act as total wusses.

Hate to admit I had a CNN relapse and watched their idiot show in which Wolf and commentators gave grades to Obama’s second hundred days. The internet polling on the CNN website gave Obama’s policies horrendous grades - mostly D’s. Media got a D too. Sorry Wolfie - even your own listeners can’t stand you. Hate CNN, but did enjoy watching them have a taste of some humble pie.

Naturally, the dem mouthpieces Brazille, Begala and Gergen gave A grades, despite the fact that Obama’s “Gift” has split this nation more than it’s ever been since 1860.
