Bluedog John Tanner's Staff Can't Imagine Tanner Voting Against Healthcare

SEIU union workers delivered a pro-healthcare bill petition to Bluedog Congressman John Tanner's office in Union City, TN. Upon arrival, the union workers were greeted by the staff and were told by staff members that they "couldn't imagine Congressman Tanner voting against the Healthcare Bill." It is also revealed in the video that Congressman Tanner's Chief of Staff is responsible for a lot of language in the bill itself. It's time to target Congressman John Tanner of Tennessee's 8th Congressional district. He is also one of the leaders of the Bluedog coalition in Congress.

Most of these blue dogs are sucking up for money for their district and re-election effort. I don’t think any of them will get re-elected if a healthcare bill passes.

It should be easy pickings going after the Blue Dogs in next year’s elections. Most of them represent conservative leaning districts.

You just need to ask them one question: Did you or did you not vote for Nancy Pelosi to be House Speaker?

He will be gone next year. The Crats are going to Ram Health Care and Cap and Tax through this fall. We will have to get the House back to de-fund the programs til 2012.

“Vote the arrogant bums out in 2010.”

What will it take to undo their “accomplishments”?

Tanner has got to go. He no longer represents the best interests of his constituents here in West Tennessee. He’s a part of the problem, not part of the solution.

Yes ... if Sarah came to run rallies against the blue dogs, they’d be toast for sure.

I have been checking the web sites of nearby Congress-critters every day, in order to find out when I can exercise my first amendment right to petition my government for redress of grievances. New this morning I found two “teleconferences” with John Tanner (D-TN8), which I signed up for.

However, these staged “events” have nothing to do with a free exchange of ideas, because the persons allowed to speak and the questions to be answered are clearly cherry-picked to slant the discussion toward the officials’ views.

So I just got off the phone with his Millington (Memphis suburb) office. I told the minion in residence that I deplored the cowardice displayed, and the prevarication that it represents. I also told him that attempts by the President and the democrat leadership to falsely portray the serious and substantial concerns of the public as extremist “astroturf” while the community-organized thugs of ACORN and SEIU are given a free pass for truly outrageous behavior is even more damaging than the truth has been.
