August 4, 2009 — Hold onto your spleen if you can. The lowly organ, “known as much for its metaphoric as its physiological value, plays a more important role in the body’s defense system than anyone suspected"...

Weird connection. The way the pattern of these articles are going, next week’s article will be “McDonald’s puts Big Macs on Sale, Darwin Loses”

At least the big mack thing will be more believable.

Oh, and by the way, science hasn’t thought of the spleen as a vestigial organ since it was considered the cause of pensive sadness or melancholy. It is pretty widely known to be an important part of the lyphatic system.

Weird connection.

Lot's of wierd connections. Like the one between the YEC'ers that deny evolution and believe that the earth is 6,000 years old and their buddies the ID'ers that believe in evolution, that the earth is billions of years old and that God may be dead. Go figure.

Oh, and by the way, science

Keep science off this non-science thread.

We see lots of desperation lately:
-Democrats are turning on the voters
-Obama is losing credibility
-GGG contimues to post self-indulgent creation rationalization pablum

The connection between creation rationalizers and the Alinsky left continues to expose itself!

The original NYT article says nothing about Darwin or evolution. Your cited source is nothing but a lie.

When you're the one keeping score, you get to count whatever you want.

Here we have a poster with the name of God as part of his FReep name (thus taking the name of God in vain and breaking the 3rd Commandment) who goes on to break the 9th commandment with a lie. For a sinner, he’s doing it right.

Risible.

Alinsky learned his tactics from the evolutionists.

I'm sorry. I assumed that the average FReeper knows that the whole concept of vestigal organs--and all the damaging medical assumptions based on the same--comes from Darwin's unscientific creation myth.

Kind of along the lines of "junk" DNA. Or *Most mutations are harmful*.

Interesting how quick science is to authoritatively label stuff as if they really know what they're talking about, and then spend years backpedaling and accusing creationists of what evos started in the first place.
