American Spectator ^ | 8.6.09 @ 2:45AM | By Robert Stacy McCain

Jesse Griffin, the Alaska blogger who Saturday claimed in an "exclusive" report that Todd and Sarah Palin were divorcing, will no longer work as an Anchorage kindergarten teaching assistant, school officials confirmed Wednesday.

Griffin's resignation followed revelations that the 49-year-old Griffin had posted (under the alias "Gryphen") sexually explicit advocacy of pornography and masturbation on his "Immoral Minority" blog. . . .

Griffin blamed "the Palin team and their minions" for discovery of his "Gryphen" online alias, which he says resulted in death threats and harassment. . . .

"I think what is truly frightening is how ready some people are to believe that just because you are a male who works with kids you must be a pervert. . . . The truth is that I have never even been accused of anything inappropriate with a child in my classroom, camp, or home. It has simply never happened."

I note that the man does not deny engaging in inappropriate behavior with children; he only denies ever having been ACCUSED of it.

“Griffin blamed “the Palin team and their minions” for discovery of his “Gryphen” online alias, which he says resulted in death threats and harassment. . . “

Palin AND ‘her minions’ really are smarter than anyone gave them credit for. They infiltrated the depths of this fool’s mind and made him post all those nasty things on his own site.

Mind control exists! Wait a moment - does what Griffin operates on really qualify as a mind? Or, would ‘hind brain’ or ‘brain stem’ be more accurate?

Typical Dem. Just like this broad:

A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him,

"Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."

The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You're in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.

"She rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a Republican."

"I am," replied the man. "How did you know?"

"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct. But I have no idea what to do with your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me."

The man smiled and responded, "You must be an Obama Democrat."

"I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?"

"Well," said the man, "you don't know where you are or where you are going. You've risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow, now it's my fault."

Unfortunately any man who works with small children is suspect—that’s the depths to which our depraved society has descended.

A friend of mine taught 1st grade, and was the only male teacher in the school for that grade level. While female teachers were allowed to assist children of either gender in the bathroom, if one of his students required assistance he had to call a female colleague to do it.

He’s a married man with small children of his own, but because he chose to be an elementary school teacher he was automatically a suspect.

While we have, for now, the right of free speech in America, we don't necessarily have the right of anonymous free speech.

We also don't have the right to make up rumors out of whole cloth and spread them around.

Quick soliloquy on free speech. Currently, in the "Upside Down World" of modern discourse, the premise is that the only way to defend free speech is by defending speech that is indefensible. This strikes me as proclaiming that in order to defend our "right to drive a car" we must defend the most irresponsible driving.

The way to defend free speech is to be sure of your facts and write honestly.

The original premise of free speech was that the government could not engage in prior restraint of publication or talk. It was never intended for people to be exempt from the consequences of their speech. The right to free speech does not mean your employer has to keep you employed if you become an embarrassment. It does not mean you have the right to lie without facing the consequences or to threaten people. It doesn't even protect your right to tell the truth if you have signed a non-disclosure agreement or attempt to engage in insider trading on the stock exchanges.

Irresponsible speech weakens our freedoms. While protecting someone's right to free speech is important, it's also important to call out a liar.

“Immoral Minority”? Not even original. The rock station KMET in LA was using it as their motto during the 70s.

I think this “resignation” has more to do with posting this crap from a school-owned computer, more than anything else.

Remember, this clown LIVES IN HIS MOTHER’S BASEMENT!
