Texas Republican Sen. John Cornyn is taking issue with a Tuesday posting on the official White House blog in which the Obama administration asks supporters to report back when they receive an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy to an official e-mail address: flag@whitehouse.gov.
I am not aware of any precedent for a president asking American citizens to report their fellow citizens to the White House for pure political speech that is deemed fishy or otherwise inimical to the White Houses political interests, Cornyn writes today in a harshly worded letter to President Barack Obama in which he asks the president to immediately halt the effort

Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas. sent a letter to President
Barack Obama on Wednesday questioning his
administrations request for supporters to report fishy
behavior on health care to an official White House
e-mail address.
And you think this imposter, bum, trader, illegitimate, grifter Mme Obama is going to respond?
More of those idiots should follow up on this “rat out your neighbor” crap, like Cornyn is doing. I just don’t know what its going to take to light the fire under their butts!
of course not! This is the first time she is proud of her country!
ASKS???
How about DEMANDS!
Fishy behavior? Smells like Rahm to me!
I’m very glad Cornyn (who isn’t one of my senators, alas) is doing this. I think a lot of Congress critters are actually somewhat taken aback and don’t know how to respond. They’re afraid of Obama...and now they’re afraid of us.
They should be more afraid of us!
Ping
Everytime Obama speaks about healthcare, we should report his EXACT words to the healthcare e-mail address at the White House.
Obama words are the most “fishy.” Let’s throw them right back at him.
Sounds like Obama has big plans. Maybe he's plotting a Hundred Fishys Campaign.
As soon as I read about this yesterday, I emailed Senator Cornyn who is my senator.
THANK YOU SENATOR JOHN CORNYN for your much needed letter to Obama. Very appropriate.

Further, Mr. Obama, it’s very unlikely that THE PEOPLE will TOLERATE THESE CHICAGO STREET HUCKSTERS ATTEMPTS TO - SUPPRESS - POLITICAL DEBATE AND FREE SPEECH - especially concerning this - the most MASSIVE and otherwise important, legislation ever “proposed”!
May we and our elected officials be granted time to fully analyze this 1000+ page work in progress, that you call a Bill(?)
PS: The USAG’s Office is awaiting your guidance regarding the meaning of “fishy” to applied in this new decree (for ref, some definitions below).
One thought was to change the name of the data collection website to: fishy@whitehouse.edu.gov(?)...for clarity, etc.

In honesty, this is a bridge too far.
Obama or Rahm has badly overreached on this one. It constitutes an implied threat to anyone who holds an adverse position on healthcare.
Chicago thuggery on the march.
