Amid all the adulation over Bill Clinton's "rescue" of the two reporters from North Korea, what have we learned since they were released about the circumstances under which they were captured by the North Koreans? Have the two acknowledged whether they crossed illegally into North Korea and thereby precipitated the crisis?
I didn't realize Al Gore sent them. Do you have a link for that?
“Stupid” is American liberal chicks, thinking they can pull their BS stunts all over the world. Just like that nut Rachel Corrie.
The only one i feel sorry for is that little girl who would rather have mom at home instead of playing activist in other countries. Poor kid.
Why do we have to “learn” something from every dang thing that happens?
All I want to know is what it cost the U.S. to spring these dimwits. What did we promise Kim-Jung Mentally Il? Any deal involving Clinton, Gore and Obama has got to be a loser for our country.

Lisa Ling said her sister called to say that she and fellow journalist Euna Lee had broken the law in North Korea when they were captured in March on the China-North Korean border. She was very deliberate in saying they broke the law, Lisa Ling said in a phone interview before an evening vigil planned at the state capitol. Their only hope right now is to be pardoned.

“Yes, they acknowledged they crossed illegally in order to get the amnesty/pardon.”
I don’t mean a “confession” under duress in order to win their freedom — I’m asking if the two reporters have shed any light on how they came to be arrested SINCE they were released.
I know we dont care about our borders, but thats no reason to expect other countries to have open borders.
Sadly, LMAO...
Seems to me some of these “journalists” live in this dream world where freedom of speech and journalistic license somehow prevails, like they’re Supermen and immune to everything.
Obviously, not so. These idjits precipitated an international incident!
They deserve to get their butts chewed! (figuratively!)
No kidding, Our soldiers die before the interests of the nation are sacrificed. Better that these two leftist loons stay in prison, than the US be weakened by be forced to beg or pay ransom. They knew exactly what they were doing.
Mom and pop on vactation somewhere, or other innocent Americans, ok,, but not activistas.

“I dont mean a confession under duress in order to win their freedom Im asking if the two reporters have shed any light on how they came to be arrested SINCE they were released.”
Even here at home,,whats the point in asking them? They’ll lie anyway. They are reporters for a leftist, San Fransico, Al Gore organization. Every work they say will be solely intended to advance their cause. It’s an exercise in silliness to ask them to be honest with us.
Might as well ask them to tell the truth about global warming. They work for the biggest liar on the planet,,i don’t see how they can possibly be trusted when they say what “really happened”.
What about the soldier that was taken in Afghanistan? Is Clintoon now going to take care of a real hero??
That albore sent these two young women to a most dangerous part of the world to learn about the bad behaviour of the North Koreans.
Smart move.
Smarter move. They went.
Ya mean they didn’t get a drivers lic and free tuition? BOOO
The expenses should all be paid for by al bore, but I’ll bet anybody, that the American tax payer picked up the tab. Will they be mad about it? Sure they will. Will they do anything about it? No, because they are a big bunch of whineyass pussies that have been brainwashed into thinking if they do try anything, they’ll be branded as “trouble makers” and the police, FBI, BATF, etc. will be called in. So, just SFU and give us your money, we’ll spend it any way we choose, any time we choose. In other words.....In your face John Q Public.
I meant, do you have a link that says Al Gore sent them to North Korea?
there is a lot about this that makes no sense to me.
1. they work for Algore - hence they are not journalists, even using our State Run Media examples of journalists
2. and just what did they claim they were trying to do on the border with a hostile nation?
3. and they didn’t enlist the cooperation of the South Korean government and military as the ventured close to this heavy guarded border?
4. just what did this cost us?
5. I wish I could say I am glad they are out, but given the above unknowns, I can’t really say it...
From TechCruch: "Now the LA Times says a Japanese TV channel has reported that Gore would be prepared to fly to Pyongyang and secure the womens freedom."
Their comments are no doubt being sanitized as we speak.
