A document unveiled by a California attorney in her quest to determine President Obama's place of birth has been condemned as a forgery by critics who deride as nonsense the challenges that have been raised to the president based on the U.S. Constitution's demand that the Oval Office occupant be a "natural born" citizen.
But those on the other side, who would like to see the original documentation of Obama's birth place revealed, say there are factors that indicate the Kenyan birth document could be real.
WND reported when the document was submitted to a California court by California attorney Orly Taitz, who has managed several of the high-profile cases challenging Obama's eligibility to be president.
Then yesterday, Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., raised the dispute to the floor of that august body, protesting in a speech added to the Congressional Record that the dispute was not worth one minute of time.

Problem is: the book could not be in both countries at the same time.
You read that right.
both the Bomford doc and the Kenyan doc have the same registrars, Miller and Lavender, and the same book and page.
That’s what threw up the red flag immediately.
That’s why we’re talking about Bomford.
Not because the forms look the same.
But because they contain the same content.
WOW! The guy from Kenya who sent Orly a email saying the BC was real also verified E. F. Lavender.
It would be the viewing software. But usually they don’t leave such fingerprints like this behind.
Ayep.
Everything I hear from over seas is prefaced by... how do Americans NOT know this?... yea.
Just remember the Fonts are different... look at the number “44” at the bottom right of each doc. and the “No.” at the top left of each doc. Something is strange here, but I don’t know what yet. :)

There were actually several examples of the country being called “Republic of Kenya” in 1963. These were what...lucky guesses?

SWEET - A BIG VICTORY FOR THE GOOD GUYS
Oh good grief. You should have seen me scouring court house records in every county within 100 miles. I was aking for birth records, marriage records, death records, census records and criminal records. The clerks were more than happy to pile those books up in front of me and walk away. I guess America is (for now) freerer than any country.
It seems that Mr. Lavender has been around, eh?
Sometimes we have to recognize when we were wrong and I was so wrong about how useless this thread would be...
I am assuming you are referring to this post:

I don't doubt there were references to a republic in 1963, but the official date of the republics bargaining was 12-DEC-1964. You called BS on another Freeper who stated that and it wasn't.
I wasn't claiming the document to be real or fake, I have no idea if it is or not. SIGH!! We really need to focus on defeating O’s Marxist agenda, this issue isn't going to take him down.

Carl says: I cant identify myself here because Id lose my job. Im a low level employee of the US State Department attached to the Overseas Service and I just finished a conference call with two lawyers in London and two journalists from Politico.com who all stated that they just left a late meeting at the London Foreign Office and they were assured that The Kenyan birth certificate is without question, 100% authentic. Im not surprised.

kitau says: I happen to be Kenyan. I was born 1 month before Obama at Mombasa medical center. I am a teacher here at the MM Shaw Primary School in Kenya. I compared my birth certificate to the one that has been put on by Taitz and mine is exactly the same. I even have the same registrar and format. The type is identical. I am by nature a skeptical person. I teach science here and challenge most things that cannot be proven. So I went to an official registrar today and pulled up the picture on the web. They magnified it and determined it to be authentic. There is even a plaque with Registrar Lavenders name on it as he was a Brit and was in charge of the Registrar office from 1959 until January of 1964. The reason the date on the certificate says republic of Kenya is that we were a republic when the copy of the original was ordered. I stress the word copy. My copy also has republic of Kenya. You aren’t getting the importance of the book and page.
Doesn’t matter anyway, because Lavender was the Registrar in Mombasa Kenya, which means that the Aussie Doc was the fake.
It wasn’t the book and page that got it done. But the book and page thing was something that ABC should’ve picked up on before they called the Kenyan doc the fake instead of the Aussie one.
You just never know. Now time to do some more legwork on Mr. Lavender.
