A document unveiled by a California attorney in her quest to determine President Obama's place of birth has been condemned as a forgery by critics who deride as nonsense the challenges that have been raised to the president based on the U.S. Constitution's demand that the Oval Office occupant be a "natural born" citizen.
But those on the other side, who would like to see the original documentation of Obama's birth place revealed, say there are factors that indicate the Kenyan birth document could be real.
WND reported when the document was submitted to a California court by California attorney Orly Taitz, who has managed several of the high-profile cases challenging Obama's eligibility to be president.
Then yesterday, Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., raised the dispute to the floor of that august body, protesting in a speech added to the Congressional Record that the dispute was not worth one minute of time.

Neither the 1955 nor 1959 Australia birth registrations refer to a book/page however ...
A Canadian friend of mine stated that this format was widely used throughout the Crown.
In looking over the many birth certificates that you’ve been good enough to show, I’ve seen no reference to a book or a page.
It does not appear that Australia uses a system with a book and a page. But the Bomford doc references a book and a page.
Why would that be? Perhaps the Bomford doc is fake?
If what WND says is true, that Obama’s kenyan BC template matches other legit Kenyan BC’s then we’ll know Bomfords is fake. If not, we’ll keep diggin.

That's not surprising, up until late 1963 they were a British colony, but actually began weaning themselves off of British rule as early as 1961 until they established their constitution in 1963. So references to a “republic” pre 1964 in anticipation of independence seems highly plausible. We referred to ourselves as the United States of America in 1776, it took until 1783 to be able to back that up, and until 1789 to become an official republic.
Find a South Australian birth certificate (and I’ve been trying) and show that it doesn’t reference a book or page, and you might well be on to something.
But different states do things somewhat differently - I can’t find another SA certificate online anywhere - just NSW, QLD, and Victoria, so far.
Don’t know why it was a photo, but apparently it was according to the court filing.
Doesn’t mean it was fake. Just means they don’t have the paper copy in their possession.
Apparently Orly submitted the photo to the court in order to get a judgment to allow her to investigate further.
Maybe she needs a court order to check for other sources.

Don’t go by what I say. It would only be true if looking for two different entries in the same country. I doubt that Kenya and S.A. would have used the same book......unless they somehow were kept in Britain.

More likely it's just because it's South Australian - the only certificates I've been able to find online are from other states - common format (though not identical).

Neat! All I have to do is print it out, find an old typewriter, type in Bambi's details. Oops. Almost forgot. Need a notary stamp to make an indistinct circular impression. Or maybe photoshop a genuine one. Then fold it up, stick in pocket, go for ten-mile walk in 90° heat. Unfold, snap a medium-res photo at an angle, and post!

If this were true, then the two B.C.’s could have the same book and page reference.

Kenya and South Australia would definitely not be using the same book. Similar certificates, possibly. But separate registries. Constitutionally, it’s a state by state issue for Australia.

I don’t know how and where records are kept in Australia, but if they have court houses in each province it should be simple to go there and ask to search the books for records of a relative, etc. and see if the numbers match for 64. Naturalman should take a trip to S.A. court of records.
