Chris Matthews Says Townhall Meetings “Like the Streets of Tehran”
NewsReal ^ | August 4, 2009 | Staff

Others on this blog have described how Rep. Lloyd Doggett, D-TX, demeaned his constituents for having the audacity to oppose socialized medicine at a public meeting. (Doggett called their self-expression a “real desperation tactic.”) However, it’s worth memorializing the way the host of MSNBC’s Hardball, Chris Matthews, views those who reject ObamaCare: they’re jihadists. (Snip)

Matthews began: “Everytime a member of Congress or Senate calls a town meeting now, the people show up, and it’s like, I don’t know, it’s like Iran, it’s like the streets of Tehran.”

Wouldn’t be a bad thing to protest Iranian-style against an illegitimate government. Matthews is showing which side he identifies with: Obama/Ahmadinejad.

Yes, Chriisie, it’s exactly like the streets of Teheran...people speaking out against the abuse of power and being ignored by the leader of the free world. You turd.

Perhaps his own analogy should be telling him something.

It DOES tell ME something!

Probably the most succinct thing this retread, no-load sycophantic buffoon has ever uttered. And once again he is on the side of the losers just like the idiots who fixed the Iranian voting. Moron

Yes, Chrissie, and for the same reason - freedom.

By the grace of God, freedom will be preserved without the bloodshed 'like (in) the streets of Tehran'.

Sounds like a compliment, to me.

The people of Iran are rising up against their corrupt theocracy in ways that should make many Americans feel sheepish and ashamed. Others, willing to take to the streets and “rage against the machine” should see kindred spirits.

What Matthews really means to say is :
"how dare these insignificant, average Americans challenge The Plan of The Anointed One! The Great Spreader has expressed his desire for this plan, and these lowly serfs uh citizens should fall in line."

So... Chris Matthews finally gets it /s

American's (at least SOME American's) are finally standing up to take their government back... I just hope it isn't too late.

And Chrissy, "leg tingle" Matthews is a totally government owned entity.

Years ago, Chrissy occasionally said something sensible. Has anyone checked to see if he has been replaced by a programmed robot?

That’s right, Christy. Slaves are supposed to just shut up and smile—irrespective of what’s happening.
