President Obama is my president. I watched him take the oath of office. For me, the citizen ship sailed when the Reverend Wright ship sailed. Or when the Bill Ayers ship sailed. I sympathisize with people who continue to cling to thing to the hope that he will leave office, but I've moved on. I do, however, resent the left's idea that everyone who believes things like this is a right wing extremesit.

Remember the two Bush IQ hoaxes? What do you suppose the percentage of liberals are who are convinced that Bush's score is below 100? Based on my interactions with them, I suppose that it is more than half. And I beleve 95% of all American's would not suspect that his SAT Scores put him in the "Moderately Gifted" group betwen 130 and 144.

...no Hawaiian birth certificate or newspaper announcement from the time will convince them otherwise.

How about 1 credible witness? How tough could it be for any American born in the 1960's to produce a statement from a doctor, nurse, or other reliable witness to their birth or first few weeks? You'd think witnesses would be coming out of the woodwork to clear the name of a local boy made President.

O ran for president.

The burden is on him to prove he’s qualified.

That fact will never change or go away.
Nuff said.

Did the U.S. Constitution sail as well?

Do we live by the rule of law (the foundation of which is the Constitiution) or not?

All he has to do is demonstrate he is in compliance with the Constitution and the vast majority of us will accept it and move on.

But if he’s holding office based on fraud, that’s all the more reason to purge.

I dont remember quite this much hand wringing over the 9/11 conspiracies. As I recall, quite a few (predominantly Democrat) believe(d) in that one, and that one was an awful, terrible conspiracy to believe in. And while I am not a birther, I hardly call it a conspiracy, and it is no where near as bad as the 9/11 stuff.

Let the Supreme Court determine whether he gets kick out of office and let Congress and the voters live up to the Constitution. Bush got dragged to the Supreme Court and the Left claimed he was an illegitimate President for 8 years even after they ruled in his favor.

11% of Americans think that Barack Obama wasn't born in the United States

that's because he is acting like he wasn't born in the USA. Stop hiding the truth.

Obama's approval rating falling, health care reform in limbo...the media needs a distraction to make conservatives look like kooks.

Enter the birthers.

Funny they're now really writing stories about this.

There’s Red America, Blue America and Tinfoil Helmet America.

Evidently, anyone who still believes that quaint document, the constitution, actually means what it says has now been relegated to ‘tinfoil helmet America.’

CertifiGate Revisited (yet again)

Anyone who thinks this is about the possibility that obama was born in Kenya is misreading most of those I've talked to. The Original CertifiGate is about demanding openness from a president who promised transparency. Stop the idiotic secrecy over something so basic as a birth certificate.

If folks then speculate why he won't release such an easy to release document, then that's all it is...speculation. But the CAUSE of the speculation is the unnecessary secrecy and not the other way around. In fact, the speculation can be killed by the end of the unncessary secrecy.

Pres. Bush released his SAT scores. Obama has not. Verbally he has stated what they were, but he hasn't released the actual papers.

Nor has he released his long form birth certificate.

Nor his selective service papers.

Nor the passport he used in 1981 to travel to Pakistan. Nor his LSAT scores, nor...nor...nor....

Funny how we're all crazy for asking for proof of natural citizenship out of our President, but then we were crazy for thinking Dan Rather's "Killian Memo" was phony. Funny, too, how GW's ANG service was questioned relentlessly by the MSM. Remember the phrase, "it's the seriousness of the charges"? I guess our charges aren't serious enough.

</puking sarcasm>

"The only thing weirder than the Birthers are the anti-Birthers, who blame the Birthers for being conspiracy theorists yet actively feed the conspiracy by refusing to call for President Obama to release his birth certificate.

The state official in Hawaii who manages such things has reiterated that there is indeed an original birth certificate on file which would confirm President Obama's having been born in Hawaii and that she has seen it, but state law won't allow her to release it unless the president authorizes it.

So what's the problem here? Release the original and let's be done with this madness."

Anybody have the polls showing how many Democrats believe 9/11 was orchestrated by President Bush? I thought that was something like a paltry 33%?

Where is our version of the Michael Moore movie debunking the the BC issue?

Or how about GWB being able to control the weather with his weather machine?

C’mon their going to need more than 12% belief in the BC issue to call it a true conspiracy that threatens to undermine the nation.

An amazing 58% of the surveyed Republicans questioned

If it was 100% that would mean the problem would be much less for Obama.

But if 42% of 22% of the population that has doubts is Dem and Independent, Obama really ought to probably release his long-form birth certificate.

Wow, these Obamites are really firing. First they name us “birthers’ which rhymes with Birchers, and then they use the title of a movie about the Ku Klux Klan. Methinks they protest a bit much.

The media has outsmarted themselves. Their brainwashed idiots don't know enough American history to understand what they are talking about through these bromides.
