There's Red America, Blue America and Tinfoil Helmet America. And it looks like the third camp is enormously larger than anyone feared.
A new poll, commissioned by the liberal Web site Daily Kos found that fully 11% of Americans think that Barack Obama wasn't born in the United States. And another 12% said that they are unsure.
The doubters are heavily concentrated in the Republican Party, according to pollsters. An amazing 58% of the surveyed Republicans questioned whether Obama, in fact, entered the world in Hawaii.
What this means: Millions of Americans suspect or are convinced that Obama, son of a Kenyan father, is not a citizen and thus cannot legitimately serve as President. And no Hawaiian birth certificate or newspaper announcement from the time will convince them otherwise.
Who are these people? They're the ones whose feet are not planted on U.S. soil - or any soil.
If as we contend, that Obama and the ones responsible for making sure that he was qualified according to the Constitution, have failed the election process and the Constitutional rights of American Citizens/Voters in their fiduciary and sworn duty to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, then we have the right to question and to redress our wrong and to make them prove what they are claiming
Why everyone feels they must jump on this issue with a strong opinion when we are all still in the dark is beyond me.
I don’t scorn people but only answer them in kind... you’ll find that I pretty much stick to the topic... all the time.. but it’s usually a certain number of posters who come in saying “troll” or “liar” or “Obot” or “any-slur-you-want”... and so on...
I don’t get that kind of stuff going... just check out my comments...
Anyone else can see it plainly... so I don’t know what more I can do to help you out...
“[ *hint* there is no *legal requirement* for a candidate to show his birth certificate... ]”
You keep repeating the same old clap trap over and over and you are WRONG!
“Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawaii State Department of Health...”.
So the Doctor says that she’s seen the proof that Soetoro is a ‘natural born citizen’, but won’t elaborate on the points that bring her to that conclusion. In any case, she’s not a judge.
and you don’t want to know what the hourly rate of their attorneys is !! I’d say the younger associates charge a minimum of $400/hour and the top dawg, Bauer, probably gets double that. I haven’t kept up with attorney fees, but the big shots DO make nice $$$$$.
If they are charging less, it is offset by business to the firm from other BHO/DNC affiliations. They are not pro bono in the sense that others think of and do pro bono work.
(_!_)
The only one that I know of, for sure, that has stated that they’ve seen the birth certificate is the State of Hawaii, through their official website...
http://hawaii.gov/health/about/pr/2009/09-063.pdf
I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen. I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago.
And since the State of Hawaii is an official government organization, plus a “state” and the *very state* that holds the birth certificate, and from the beginning, and they are the only ones who can even issue a “certified copy” — I would say that this is pretty solid and definitive — when they say that Obama was born in Hawaii and that Obama is a natural-born American citizen.
BUT..., if you really want to *see* the birth certificate for yourself, the only way that’s going to happen is if you get a state law passed to that effect...
It appears to me that conservative Freepers are overwhelming in support of states passing laws to require documentation of eligibility.
Well, if that’s wrong — then why hasn’t anyone been able to get a court to order the birth certificate under *some law* that you think exists already? LOL...
O’Reilly made the claim that he investigated, saw the document, and it’s all hogwash and we are all cranks
I just listed two, right here on this thread...
If I were to start keeping a count and keep all the postings to that effect, I would come up with hundreds of postings...
But, in any case, you’ve got *two* right here, on this thread and today...
I don’t care that you work to pass new laws, but I am contending along with a few others that the Constitution compels him to qualify
If you have read the CONSTITUTION you will find it’s there!
MUST BE QUALIFIED!
That means PROOF!
BTW. Your constant “LOL” is bordering on being ‘maniacal’!
Not a good mental health sign!
I agree.
But...I also support the states passing laws for candidates to prove they qualify.
That may be him, but I’m talking about the State of Hawaii, who is the *keeper* of the document, who received the first copy ever of that document, and who is the one who *even* sends out the “certified copy” — they are the ones who say that Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen...
LOL! Great pic :)
And we’ve got confirmation from the State of Hawaii that says he *is* qualified...
BUT, if you or anyone has evidence to the contrary.., please produce it as soon as possible so we can get this taken care of...
