There's Red America, Blue America and Tinfoil Helmet America. And it looks like the third camp is enormously larger than anyone feared.
A new poll, commissioned by the liberal Web site Daily Kos found that fully 11% of Americans think that Barack Obama wasn't born in the United States. And another 12% said that they are unsure.
The doubters are heavily concentrated in the Republican Party, according to pollsters. An amazing 58% of the surveyed Republicans questioned whether Obama, in fact, entered the world in Hawaii.
What this means: Millions of Americans suspect or are convinced that Obama, son of a Kenyan father, is not a citizen and thus cannot legitimately serve as President. And no Hawaiian birth certificate or newspaper announcement from the time will convince them otherwise.
Who are these people? They're the ones whose feet are not planted on U.S. soil - or any soil.

That’s a state form that he signed... you’ll see that it’s Arizona and he had to meet *their requirement* in order to get on the ballot — not the DNC’s requirement to get on the ballot (in the state of Arizona)...

These birth certificate threads have basically *one goal* in mind — which is to *show the birth certificate*...
And the problem is that many seem to be stumbling over this issue because they don’t seem to realize that there is *no legal requirement* for a candidate to show his birth certificate...
That is the *very core* of the issue on all these threads...
Thus once someone realizes this basic idea, then it’s obvious that the next step (and only step that will work to solve the problem) — is — get a state law enacted that requires a candidate to do that...
Hence the reason why I’m here...
From someone living here a very long time;We once upon a time,in the 1960-90’s,had one elitist paper which shall go unnamed and 2 working class papers,the Post and News. Well,as time went on,the Post became more conservative and held their base which is to say,middle class readers that can read English. The News,suffering from a decline began drifting and eventually became the paper of a few diehards as well as the burgeoning non elitist liberal crowd,the “gimmies”(as opposed to the elitist “givers”). So now we have 2 papers catering to different halves of the same side and one displaying some sanity.
The drift from the paper of my childhood is sad but since the papers are union infested ratholes i’ve decided to not lose any sleep over it.
It’s what I call a “real life answer” — in that if you way you want *this* (whatever that is) — and it’s *not happening* no matter what you do and what you try — then — that’s a “clue” for you to examine why that’s so...
People want the birth certificate to be shown. No one can do it and no court has ordered it. So, why is that?
The reason? — there is *no legal requirement* for the candidate to show his birth certificate.
Solution? — get a state law requiring it...
