There's Red America, Blue America and Tinfoil Helmet America. And it looks like the third camp is enormously larger than anyone feared.
A new poll, commissioned by the liberal Web site Daily Kos found that fully 11% of Americans think that Barack Obama wasn't born in the United States. And another 12% said that they are unsure.
The doubters are heavily concentrated in the Republican Party, according to pollsters. An amazing 58% of the surveyed Republicans questioned whether Obama, in fact, entered the world in Hawaii.
What this means: Millions of Americans suspect or are convinced that Obama, son of a Kenyan father, is not a citizen and thus cannot legitimately serve as President. And no Hawaiian birth certificate or newspaper announcement from the time will convince them otherwise.
Who are these people? They're the ones whose feet are not planted on U.S. soil - or any soil.
STOP PIMPING FOR OBAMA!
Because that is EXACTLY what you are doing when you DEFEND his position!
And you have NO IDEA what I am doing!
And since I’m a ‘natural born citizen’ then I guess I’m not ‘required’ to tell you!
Just like your PAL Odumbo!
Your constant ‘Obama is a citizen’ SPAM is getting tiring.
I think you need a new ‘hobby’.
I hear Zeyala is looking for supporters!
You’d fit right in!
Bbbwwwaaaaahhaaaaa, I'm infected with insanity?? Does this ring any bells:

AGREED!
The DAILY KOS? aka Soros, Acorn, etc., taking a “poll”...very funny....
They “debunked” themselves years ago.
Whoever cedes objective reasoning to the above are encased in tin foil.
You mean that with all the times that posters have shown the IRS filing for since the election gotten via FOIA that you still want to play that game of ‘show me’? The main law firm of these cases is even named as “’something’ and Coie”. Man, some people are so dead set to endorse this lying affirmative action figurte that they will refuse to see what is presented over and over! And if you think the more than $600,000 paid to that particular firm since 2009 started is not for representation in the suits, then why is that firm the one named as representing Barry?
Ping a ling a ling
CertifiGate Revisited (yet again)
Anyone who thinks this is about the possibility that obama was born in Kenya is misreading most of those I've talked to. The Original CertifiGate is about demanding openness from a president who promised transparency. Stop the idiotic secrecy over something so basic as a birth certificate.
If folks then speculate why he won't release such an easy to release document, then that's all it is...speculation. But the CAUSE of the speculation is the unnecessary secrecy and not the other way around. In fact, the speculation can be killed by the end of the unncessary secrecy.
Pres. Bush released his SAT scores. Obama has not. Verbally he has stated what they were, but he hasn't released the actual papers.
Nor has he released his long form birth certificate.
Nor his selective service papers.
Nor the passport he used in 1981 to travel to Pakistan. Nor his LSAT scores, nor...nor...nor....
I saw that thread, not sure who came up with the idea, but its a great one, and one that needn't have all the conspiratorial angst connected to it.
How is your lying working out for you these days? Do I need to post the evidence of your deceits, again?
Narcicistic, pathological, histrionic (notice all the drama)no loyalty to anyone or anything...
That’s who is there... now the next question is — do you want to get the birth certificate?
Well, somebody is paying the lawyers fighting the suits brought by Berg, Keyes and the growing number of retired military officers.
</puking sarcasm>
The state official in Hawaii who manages such things has reiterated that there is indeed an original birth certificate on file which would confirm President Obama's having been born in Hawaii and that she has seen it, but state law won't allow her to release it unless the president authorizes it.
So what's the problem here? Release the original and let's be done with this madness."
Mark Joseph, The Huffington Post, July 30, 2009
Well, everyone can see that it’s *obvious* that there is *no legal requirement* for a candidate to show his birth certificate — or — it would have been done by now.
It is about a year later, after everyone was asking for it. That’s plenty of time for a court to enforce a law about a birth certificate — if — one existed (which could be the reason why no court ever could enforce it.. huh?).
And then it doesn’t take a “rocket scientist” to figure out that if you don’t have a law requiring the birth certificate to be shown — you make a law to that effect... LOL...
And lastly — you go to your state and get that law through the legislature and get it done...
BUT... that appears to be too much for you to figure out... LOL...
Yep!
And this ‘right wing conspiracy’ was actually started by the ‘left wing’.
It was Hillary’s supporters who originally brought up this issue of the COLB!
You said — I saw that thread, not sure who came up with the idea, but its a great one, and one that needn’t have all the conspiratorial angst connected to it.

Well, I’ll claim to be the first and *most consistent* here on Free Republic to do that. I did it from the time of the election on post after post after post... and it’s amazing that there were FReepers who have been consistently against that idea... (I think some people actually *went insane* on November 5th...).
Now, if anyone did it before me, I never saw it. And if anyone has been promoting it more than me... I would like to know who, because we need to organize this movement... :-)
Glad you see that a state law would be a good solution... now perhaps you can help convince other FReepers who seem to *always fight against* a state law like that...
